Abstract: Provided in the present invention is a passenger-vehicle matching method for an online ride sharing. In the present invention, firstly, matching is performed on passengers by using an integer linear programming algorithm, so as to form a passenger combination scheme involving the optimal total travel time of the passengers; and secondly, in the present invention, virtual passenger combinations or virtual vehicles are supplemented, such that the number of passenger combinations is the same as the number of vehicles, and the passenger combinations are matched with the vehicles by using the integer linear programming algorithm again, so as to obtain a passenger-vehicle matching scheme involving the optimal total travel time. The present invention optimizes the passenger-vehicle matching process in online ride-hailing shared travel, enhancing user experience and efficiency, while also promoting a green traffic mode that significantly reduces urban traffic pressure and pollution.

Abstract: A microRNA sensing platform is disclosed that is sensitive, accurate, easy to use, affordable, and that does not require expensive equipment on the part of the end-user. The sensing system can be used as a sensitive and accurate miRNA profiling platform to monitor the progression of diseases, or treatment regimen, or personalized diagnosis, or personalized prognosis. The entire RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC), which holds the mature miRNA, is preserved in the system. The RISC is allowed to perform its native functions. These native functions not only protect the miRNA from degradation during the isolation process, but can also help eliminate false targets. The system sensitively and selectively responds to the presence or absence of RISCs bearing the target miRNA.

Abstract: Reinforcement learning of beam codebooks for millimeter wave and terahertz multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems is provided. Millimeter wave (mmWave) and terahertz (THz) MIMO systems rely on predefined beamforming codebooks for both initial access and data transmission. These predefined codebooks, however, are commonly not optimized for specific environments, user distributions, and/or possible hardware impairments. To overcome these limitations, this disclosure develops a deep reinforcement learning framework that learns how to optimize the codebook beam patterns relying only on receive power measurements. The developed model learns how to adapt the beam patterns based on the surrounding environment, user distribution, hardware impairments, and array geometry. Further, this approach does not require any knowledge about the channel, radio frequency (RF) hardware, or user positions.

Abstract: The present invention provides an optical waveguide device that ensures a large area of light available for image display, enables easy correction of deviations of light spots and accompanying cost reduction, and can display images with reduced speckle noise. The present invention further provides a light source module including a light source and the optical waveguide device. The optical waveguide device (1) allows a plurality of light beams of different wavelengths to be input to and propagate through corresponding waveguides (4b, 4g, 4r) and then be output. Input ports (3b, 3g, 3r) of the waveguides are spaced apart from each other so as not to receive light beams of improper wavelengths; at least one of the waveguides is curved; and output ports (5b, 5g, 5r) of the waveguides are located close to each other. Thus, the optical waveguide device enables cost reduction and can display images with reduced speckle noise.
