Abstract: Recombinant antibodies are provided that comprise engineered human IgG1 Fc domains that have reduced affinity for viral Fc?Rs, such as HCMV gp34 and gp68, as compared to a wild-type human IgG1 Fc domain. The engineered human IgG1 Fc domains have equivalent affinity for CD16A and FcRn as compared to a wild-type human IgG1 Fc domain. The device has at least one electrode, a sample fluid and a plurality of aptamers capable of binding to the analyte. The aptamers are physically bound to the device. Abstract: Spatial light modulators and associated methods are described. In one embodiment, a spatial light modulator includes a photonic integrated circuit configured for emitting a plurality of light beams as a first waveform by a plurality of pixels. The light beams are individually controllable. The spatial light modulator also includes a meta-optic having a plurality of nanostructures configured for receiving the first waveform and aggregating the plurality of light beams as a second waveform at a surface of the meta-optic. The spatial light modulator also includes an aperture array configured for converting the second waveform into a third waveform, where the third waveform is smaller than the second waveform.

The method of decomposing a crosslinked rubber includes: a first decomposition step of pyrolyzing a crosslinked rubber containing a rubber component that includes a diene-based rubber at not lower than 150° C. and not higher than 400° C.; and a second decomposition step of further pyrolyzing a decomposition product obtained through the first decomposition step at not lower than 300° C. and not higher than 450° C. in an inert gas atmosphere and in the absence of a catalyst. The first decomposition step is preferably performed in an inert gas atmosphere.

Abstract: A method includes modeling a reservoir using a lab scale set of models and a field scale set of models. The reservoir is modeled using the lab scale set of models by scanning a sample of the reservoir into the lab scale set of models to create modeled fractures, estimating hydraulic properties of the modeled fractures, estimating multi-phase dynamic properties of the modeled fractures, and determining characteristics of a flow regime of a fluid flowing through the modeled fractures. The reservoir is modeled using the field scale set of models by modeling a discrete fracture network of the reservoir, upscaling the discrete fracture network, and calibrating the discrete fracture network. An enhanced oil recovery operation is designed and performed on the reservoir using the calibrated discrete fracture network.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for tagging biomolecules of interest, methods of generating tagged biomolecules, and methods of use thereof. An adapter system comprises one or more epitope tags operably linked to an antibody binding domain (AbBD), which may be a photoreactive antibody binding domain (pAbBD). A pAbBD may be used to covalently photocrosslink epitope tags to immunoglobulins or immunoglobulin fragments, which may in turn be used to label biomolecules of interest. Such epitope-tagged immunoglobulins may be used in various biological research applications, including multiplexed staining assays and tandem affinity pulldown assays.

Abstract: A vision-aided inertial navigation system (VINS) implements a square-root multi-state constraint Kalman filter (SR-MSCKF) for navigation. In one example, a processor of a VINS receives image data and motion data for a plurality of poses of a frame of reference along a trajectory. The processor executes an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF)-based estimator to compute estimates for a position and orientation for each of the plurality of poses of the frame of reference along the trajectory. For features observed from multiple poses along the trajectory, the estimator computes constraints that geometrically relate the multiple poses of the respective feature. Using the motion data and the computed constraints, the estimator computes state estimates for the position and orientation of the frame of reference. Further, the estimator determines uncertainty data for the state estimates and maintains the uncertainty data as a square root factor of a covariance matrix.
