Abstract: A stimulated Raman photothermal (SRP) microscope for imaging a sample. A first optical source without an optical resonator emits a pump beam. A second optical source emits an intensity-modulated Stokes beam. The Stokes beam is combined with the pump beam to form a combined beam. The combined beam is directed to the sample to induce a thermal effect caused by the stimulated Raman process. A third optical source emits a probe beam, the probe beam is directed to the sample. An optical detector detects modulation of the probe beam after modulation by the sample to measure an SRP signal. Because noise in the pump and Stokes beam do not significantly effect the measurements from the probe beam, these beams can use a high-powered optical parametric amplifier (OPA) source for improved sensitivity and imaging speed compared to SRP microscopes using an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) source.

  • Publication number: 20250244242
Abstract: A spectroscopy and microscopy system and method include a source of pulsed infrared light generating pulsed infrared excitation light for exciting a sample, such that the pulsed infrared light selectively heats the sample by absorption of the pulsed infrared light and allows the sample to cool. A source of probe light generates probe light for illuminating the sample. A detection element detects a signal indicative of selective heating of the sample by the excitation light. A processor receives the signal indicative of the selective heating of the sample, computes a time rate of local temperature rise in the sample to obtain instantaneous absorption in the sample, and, using the instantaneous absorption, generates a spectrum related to the sample.

  • Patent number: 12375501
Abstract: A system and methods to obfuscate encrypted data packets from traffic analysis attacks are disclosed. At a high level, a processing device: executes an application or protocol for receiving traffic associated with the application or protocol; selects an obfuscation interval duration for a next transmission of a data packet; determines, at the obfuscation interval duration, if a queue for transmission of a next data packet associated with the application or protocol is: i) empty, or ii) has a next data packet associated with an application or protocol; and transmits, based on the determination, at least one of: i) a length-adjusted next encrypted data packet, or ii) an encrypted obfuscation data packet. In The transmitted length-adjusted encrypted next data packet can be generated using the next data packet and is adjusted in length with an obfuscation payload prior to encryption and subsequent transmission.

  • Patent number: 12371775
Abstract: Various implementations include a device for deposition of conformal coatings. The device includes a powder container, a connecting rod, and a crankshaft. The powder container has a first side configured to contain a powder and a second side. The connecting rod has a first end directly hingedly coupled to the second side of the powder container and a second end. The crankshaft has a longitudinal axis, a main shaft portion extending along the longitudinal axis, and a cam portion radially offset from and rotatable about the longitudinal axis. The second end of the connecting rod is directly rotatably coupled to the cam portion. Rotation of the crankshaft about the longitudinal axis causes the second end of the connecting rod to rotate about the longitudinal axis, causing the powder container to linearly oscillate between a first position and a second position.

  • Patent number: 12370912
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for detecting vehicle position during electric vehicle charging using machine learning, as well as a control scheme for activating charging coils when the vehicle crosses them. The machine learning can have as inputs the primary current, the vehicle ground clearances, and the speed of the vehicle. As different vehicles with different ground clearances are traveling across the transmitter coils for charging, ground clearance can be defined as a variable for machine learning. Vehicles can move at different speeds, so the speed of the vehicle can be considered in the prediction of the vehicle position.

  • Patent number: 12368571
Abstract: A computing system includes accelerator devices for hardware acceleration of operations of a fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) application, including a hybrid bootstrapping operation that may be parallelized for increased performance. Hybrid bootstrapping includes a first extraction on a first ciphertext (e.g., Ring Learning with Errors or RLWE) to form a plurality of second ciphertexts (e.g., LWE) corresponding to respective elements of the encrypted data, and a plurality of blind-rotate operations performed independently on the respective second ciphertexts to collectively produce a plurality of third ciphertexts (e.g., RLWE). A second extraction of respective elements of the third ciphertexts forms a plurality of fourth ciphertexts (e.g., LWE), and a repacking of respective elements of the fourth ciphertexts recreates the first-ciphertext representation of the encrypted data with restored modulus and reduced noise.
