  • Patent number: 9265587
Abstract: A method for determining an insertion trajectory of a tool for reaching a moving target object prior to its insertion into a tissular matrix. The method comprises acquiring images of the tissular matrix, constructing a three-dimensional representation of the tissular matrix, determining coordinates of the initial position of the target object and any obstacles, and determining at least one potential trajectory of the tool from the coordinates of any obstacles and the initial position of the target object. The method further comprises simulating insertion of the tool in the tissular matrix to determine displacement of the target object during insertion of the tool up to the initial position of the target object along a potential trajectory, determining a new position of the target object based on the determined displacement, and determining the insertion trajectory for the new position of the target object.

  • Patent number: 9213902
Abstract: A computer receives asynchronous information originating from a light sensor (10) having a pixel matrix disposed opposite a scene. The asynchronous information comprises, for each pixel of the matrix, successive events originating from this pixel and depending on variations in light in the scene. For a place of estimation (p) in the matrix of pixels and an estimation time (t), the computer selects a set (Sp t) of events originating from pixels included in a spatial neighborhood (??) of the place of estimation and which have occurred in a time interval (?) defined with respect to the estimation time, such that this set has at most one event per pixel of the spatial neighborhood. The computer quantifies the variations in the times of occurrence of the events of the set selected as a function of the positions, in the matrix, of the pixels from which these events originate.

  • Patent number: 9121810
Abstract: A probe including NE ultrasonic emitters and NR ultrasonic receivers is applied on the medium to be characterized. Each emitter is activated successively and each time signals are detected on the set of receivers during a time window. Each of the NE×NR signals detected is converted by temporal Fourier transformation to a sum of vibrational components each having its temporal frequency. For each frequency, a matrix NE×NR of complex amplitudes of vibrational components having this frequency is extracted. These matrices are decomposed into singular values, the smallest are eliminated, and the singular vectors associated with the singular values retained, a base of the space of the reception signals is formed, for each frequency. The contribution of each plane wave, characterized by its velocity, in this base is calculated. This contribution is represented in the form of a grey level in a frequency-propagation velocity reference system.
