Abstract: Methods for preparing a solid electrolyte membrane are described. More particularly, a small amount of binder may be fiberized through a dry calendering process to prepare a solid electrolyte membrane. Since the fiberized binder is included in an entangled state within the solid electrolyte membrane, it shows excellent characteristics in both ionic conductivity and strength.

Abstract: A system and method of training a deep neural network for object detection in an object detection system. The object detection system including a camera and a controller including the DNN. The method including capturing an image by the camera, receiving the image, predicting, using the DNN, a bounding box and corresponding class label, evaluating the prediction with a total loss function including an object detection loss function, a box regression loss function, and a calibration loss function that takes into account precision and confidence. Abstract: An intelligent deformable microneedle includes a supporting seat; a counter electrode provided above the supporting seat; an elastic object with a compressed state and a natural state, where a working electrode is provided on an outer surface of the elastic object, and a specific enzyme that can react with an analyte to be detected is provided on the working electrode; a soluble needle-shaped body fixed on the supporting seat, where the soluble needle-shaped body completely wraps the counter electrode and the elastic object from the outside, and the soluble needle-shaped body has an inner cavity structure that enables the elastic object to be in the compressed state. The microneedle is internally provided with the elastic object, after penetrating into skin, the soluble needle-shaped body is dissolved, the elastic object inside is exposed, length becomes longer, and the working electrode of an electrochemical sensor is attached to the elastic object.
Abstract: Platinum-acridines and analogs thereof as cytotoxic agents for cancer treatment. Also provided methods of using hMATE1 (SLC47A1) as a biomarker to identify tumors that are likely to respond to the agents, and epigenetically sensitizing tumor tissue to anticancer drugs targeting this membrane transporter.

Abstract: A power device threshold voltage measurement circuit and its operation method thereof are provided. The measurement circuit includes a switch component, a device under test, a common source capacitor and a decoupling capacitor. The switch component and the device under test forms a half bridge circuit and the common source capacitor is in series connected at the source of the device under test. The device under test is connected as a lower switch of the half bridge circuit and the decoupling capacitor is connected between the device under test and the common source capacitor. By applying an OFF-state stress mode and a measurement mode successively afterwards, a threshold voltage of the device under test is obtained. And the present invention is beneficial to achieving in shorter pulse width, faster measuring speed and inexpensive measuring equipment, and can thus be widely applied to group III-N based power devices.

Abstract: A detection method for infrared thermal image damage area of coal rock includes: step 1: collecting and recording the infrared thermal image of coal rock in the process of loading destruction; step 2: processing a gray-scale transformation on the collected infrared thermal image of coal rock; step 3: denoising an infrared thermal image of coal rock after the gray-scale transformation by the dense residual image denoising algorithm of autocorrelation network; step 4: conducting an area segmentation on the infrared thermal image of coal rock after denoising to extract eigenvalues by using a coal-rock infrared thermal image damage area segmentation algorithm of improved encoder-decoder network; step 5: observing the damage area of coal rock. The detection method improves the denoising effect of the infrared thermal image of coal rock, strengthens the extraction of the characteristics of the damage area, and improves the accuracy of the segmentation.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are optogenetic circuits for the bacterium Escherichia coli that induce gene expression in darkness and repress it under blue light. Applying them to metabolic engineering improves chemical production compared to chemically induced controls in light-controlled fermentations. More particularly, these circuits can be used to control protein production with light. The system and method use light as a suitable alternative to chemical induction for microbial production of chemicals and proteins.

The preparation method includes: (1) preparing BaM ferrite initial powder and NiCuZnSn ferrite initial powder, respectively; (2) mixing the BaM ferrite initial powder, the NiCuZnSn ferrite initial powder and deionized water uniformly in proportion, performing ball milling in a high-energy ball mill, and then obtaining mixed powder after primary pre-sintering, secondary pre-sintering and secondary ball milling; and (3) obtaining the high-performance composite ferrite for the self-biased circulator by a low-temperature magnetic field orientation forming technology and magnetic field heat treatment.
Abstract: A compound having a metal coordination complex structure, where the compound is capable of functioning as a phosphorescent emitter in an organic light emitting device at room temperature is disclosed. The compound has a first ligand coordinated to a metal. The free-state of the first ligand has a first triplet energy T1 of EL at 77K, while the compound has a first triplet energy T1 of E at 77K, and the difference in energy (?E) between E and EL is ?250 meV. The compound has a triplet emission spectrum with a FWHM value of no more than 45 nm. Organic light emitting devices, consumer products, and formulations containing the compounds are also disclosed.

Abstract: An accelerator system includes an off-chip memory, a bus, and an accelerator. The off-chip memory includes a first buffer. The accelerator includes a second buffer, a third buffer, a fourth buffer, an instruction fetching module, a load module, a storage module, a convolution control module, and a computation module. The instruction fetching module fetches instructions from the off-chip memory via the bus. The load module loads input data from the off-chip memory via the bus. The storage module stores the output data to the off-chip memory via the bus. The computation module performs convolution computations based on the input map and multiple kernels allocated by the convolution module. In response to loading the input data or instruction from the off-chip memory, the requested input data or instruction is transferred from the off-chip memory and temporarily stored in the first buffer.
