Abstract: The present invention discloses a numerical simulation method for proppant transport considering wall-retardation effect, comprising the followings: establish a physical model of laboratory experiment on proppant transport with a large flat-panel device; establish a drag coefficient model considering wall-retardation effect according to the numerical simulation experiment; establish a computational geometric model; set boundary conditions and physical parameters of the geometric model according to the two-fluid simulation method for solid proppant quasi-fluidization; verify the grid independence of the computational geometric model to obtain the transport characteristics and placement pattern of the proppant in fractures. The present invention employs a numerical simulation method to study the migration and distribution patterns of proppant under the retardation effect of narrow walls during the hydraulic fracturing.

Abstract: Aspects include systems having an intravenous fluid bag, a tubing line assembly including tubing connected to a connector and a purge valve assembly including a spike and an outer housing. The outer housing is connected to the spike and includes a receiving end portion configured to receive the connector. The purge valve assembly further has a check valve provided within the outer housing. Generally, the purge valve assembly interconnects the fluid bag to the fluid tubing assembly for removal of air from the fluid bag prior to connection to the tubing line assembly. Various methods and purge valve assemblies provide a rapid infusion system for use. The purge valve assemblies do not require the user to reinsert the connector or spike into the intravenous fluid bag, creating a sterile solution to preparing the intravenous fluid for rapid infusion while reducing the risk of air emboli.

Abstract: A device and a method for generating a machine translation model and a machine translation device are disclosed. The device inputs a source training sentence of a source language and a dictionary data to a generator network so that the generator network outputs a target training sentence of a target language according to the source training sentence and the dictionary data. Then, the device inputs the target training sentence and a correct translation of the source training sentence to a discriminator network so as to calculate an error between the target training sentence and the correct translation according to the output of the discriminator network, and trains the generator network and the discriminator network respectively. The trained generator network is the machine translation model.
Abstract: A metal sequestering material can be contacted with a reaction mixture of a metal-catalyzed reaction to remove transition metals or transition metal complexes. The reaction mixture contains transition metals and a reaction product in solution. These transition metals may be, for example, Pd, Ir, Ru, Rh, Pt, Au, or Hg. Abstract: A transconductance amplifier (TCA) implemented with high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) in a push-pull amplifier output stage provides a voltage controlled constant high output current to loads ranging from 10 m? to 1? with a bandwidth of 25 MHz. A driving stage for the HEMTs is implemented with variable gain amplifiers that amplify the input voltage signal and provide bias for the HEMTs.
