  • Patent number: 11232942
Abstract: A method for treating a substrate is provided. The method includes supplying a first treating liquid to a treating target surface of the substrate while the substrate is rotating, and subsequently, supplying a second treating liquid having a surface tension lower than a surface tension of the first treating liquid to the substrate while an evaporation inhibiting agent in a vapor state is present around the first treating liquid supplied to the substrate, such that the first treating liquid on the substrate is substituted with the second treating liquid. Thus, a vapor atmosphere may be formed around a cleaning liquid applied to the substrate. Thus, a liquid-film destroying phenomenon may be prevented in a procedure in which the cleaning liquid is replaced with an organic solvent.

  • Patent number: 11230575
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of producing an antimicrobial peptide wherein an antimicrobial peptide gene is fused with a green fluorescent protein gene expressed insolubly in E. coli, followed by introduction into E. coli, expression, and removal of the green fluorescent protein to yield the antimicrobial peptide. This method is capable of producing the antimicrobial peptide with high yield in a simple and economical manner and is thus effective at providing native antibiotics that can replace conventional antibiotics in pharmaceutical and feed industries, requiring the development of antibiotics having a new mechanism of action that can eradicate resistant strains due to the proliferation of multiple-drug-resistant microorganisms. Furthermore, the use of an amino acid cleavage process through acid treatment, instead of using conventional cyanogen bromide, is cost-effective for the purification of a target protein from an insoluble protein, can decrease the risk of processing, and enables rapid processing.

  • Patent number: 11229939
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a curved thin-walled intermetallic compound component by winding a mandrel with metal foil strips, which comprises the following steps: designing a prefabricated blank; preparing a support mandrel; determining thicknesses and layer numbers of foil strips; determining widths of the foil strips; establishing a laying process; pretreating surfaces of the foil strips; laying A foil and B foil; carrying out bulge forming on the prefabricated blank; carrying out diffusion reaction and densification treatment on a bulged component; and carrying out subsequent treatment of a thin-walled component. The present invention can solve the problems that impurities generated in the separation process of a support mould and a laminated foil prefabricated blank influence the final performance of a part, and a single homogeneous intermetallic compound component in thickness direction has poor plasticity and toughness at room temperature.

  • Patent number: 11233662
Abstract: Systems and methods of encrypted communication between a server and client devices using keyless encryption schemes are disclosed. Client devices with arrays of physical-unclonable-function devices respond to challenges from a server. Characteristics of the arrays are stored by the server during a secure enrollment process. Subsequently, the server issues challenges to the clients. The clients derive a ciphertext according to a variable cipher scheme determined using responses to the challenges issued by the server using characteristics of portions of the arrays specified by the challenges. The server and clients may independently determine encryption and decryption procedures using characteristics of the arrays.

  • Patent number: 11230132
Abstract: A method for directly writing metal traces on a wide range of substrate materials is disclosed. The method includes writing a pattern of particle-free metal-salt-based ink on the substrate followed by a plasma-based treatment to remove the non-metallic components of the ink and decompose its metal salt into pure metal. The ink is based on a multi-part solvent whose components differ in at least one of evaporation rate, surface tension, and viscosity, which improves the manner in which the ink is converted into its metal constituent via the plasma treatment. In some embodiments, a microplasma is used for post-treatment of the deposited ink, where the plasma properties are controlled to provide different material properties, such as porosity and effective resistivity, in different regions of the metal pattern.
