Abstract: A method determines a total velocity average cross-section parameter ?tot? in a relationship of the form ?loss(U)=nb?tot?·ƒ(U, Ud), where: ?loss(U) is a rate of exponential loss of sensor atoms from a cold atom sensor trap of trap depth potential energy U in a vacuum environment due to collisions with residual particles in the vacuum environment; nb is a number density of residual particles in the vacuum environment; Ud is a parameter given by U d = 2 ? k B ? T / m bg ? 4 ? ? ? ? ? 2 m t ? ? ? tot ? v ? which relates the masses of the sensor atoms mt and residual particles mbg to the total velocity average cross-section parameter ?tot?; and ƒ(U, Ud) is a function of the trap depth potential energy U and the parameter Ud which models a naturally occurring dependence of the loss rate ?loss(U) on the trap depth potential energy U and the parameter Ud, where ƒ(U=0, Ud) is unity for all Ud.

Abstract: A lane line detection method using a fusion network based on an attention mechanism, and a terminal device are provided. The method includes: synchronously acquiring natural images and point cloud data of a road surface; and inputting the natural images and the point cloud data into a pre-built and trained fusion network to output a lane line detection result. Time series frames and an attention mechanism are added to the fusion network to perform information fusing on the point cloud data and the natural images. Specifically, continuous frames are used to improve detection network performance to deal with complex situations such as label loss and vehicle being blocked; low-dimensional features are stitched with high-dimensional features by Skip Connection to make up for image detail information that is continuously lost as the network goes deeper, and the Decoder module is used to restore image dimensions to obtain a final result.

Abstract: Clamp-on ultrasonic flow metering is provided by collectively exciting and receiving circumferential modes of the pipe. The pipe wall supports an infinite number of circumferential acoustic resonances. Each of these modes, in contact with a fluid, can mode-convert into the flow at a different rate. The mode-converted waves in the flow mode-convert back into the circumferential waves in the pipe once they travel across the flow. Furthermore, the moving fluid alters the rate of mode-conversion as a function of the flow velocity. At low frequencies, the wavelength is larger, thus the penetration depth in the flow is larger. As the frequency increases, the penetration depth becomes smaller. The variable penetration depth provides a methodology to sample the flow velocity profile.
