  • Patent number: 9631454
Abstract: The present invention provides wellbore pressure control system and method for well cementation stages, and relates to the offshore oil and gas exploitation field. The wellbore pressure control system comprises: an injection pump; and a control device, configured to control the injection pump to inject a fluid or gas through an injection pipeline to a return pipeline that communicates with an annular space of the wellbore to decrease the pressure in the return pipeline and thereby decrease the pressure in the annular space, wherein, the density of the fluid or gas is lower than the density of a drilling fluid in the annular space. The technical scheme of the present invention can effectively prevent leaky zones from being fractured by high-density cement slurry in the well cementation process that may cause safety accidents such as well kick and well blowout, etc.

  • Patent number: 9630880
Abstract: A concrete product is produced by providing red dune sand having a particle size of 45 microns or less and mixing the red dune sand with hydraulic cement in a ratio of about 30% of the cement being replaced by the red dune sand. The cement and red dune sand are then mixed with fine and course aggregate, water and a superplasticizer and cast after pouring into a mold cavity. Then within 24 hours of casting, the cast article is steam cured for 12 hours under atmospheric pressure, demolded and placed in an auto clave at 100% humidity. The temperature in the auto clave is raised to 180° C. within one to two hours and maintained at that temperature for 4 to 5 hours. The temperature also increases the pressure to about 10 bars. The pressure is released to reach atmospheric pressure within 20-30 minutes and the temperature reduced gradually, so that the article can be removed.

  • Patent number: 9634732
Abstract: The invention described herein provides an energy transfer system via a tire based inductor system. By using the tire, the area inside the tire, the tire rim, or the wheel as the inductive pick-up for a powered roadway system the prior art problems are solved. Namely, since the tire/wheel is always in contact, or near contact with the road, the air gap is reduced to a minimum, and substantially fixed, distance. By mounting the secondary on the perimeter of a wheel, relative motion between the road and inductor is minimized. In addition, the pick-up can be encased in the tire, eliminating the problem of road debris, snow and ice entirely. Also, some heating of the tire due to electrical losses may enhance traction and tread performance on snowy or wet roads. In all configurations, the vehicle's wheel suspension adjusts vertically adjusting for road imperfections and obstacles.

  • Patent number: 9635468
Abstract: A suspended nanotube film (or films) producing sound by means of the thermoacoustic (TA) effect is encapsulated between two plates, at least one of which vibrates, to enhance sound generation efficiency and protect the film. To avoid the oxidation of carbon nanotubes at elevated temperatures and reduce the thermal inertia of surrounding medium the enclosure is filled with inert gas (preferably with high heat capacity ratio, ?=Cp/Cv, and low heat capacity, Cp). To generate sound directly as the first harmonic of applied audio signal without use of an energy consuming dc biasing, an audio signal modulated carrier frequency at much higher frequency is used to provide power input. Various other inventive means are described to provide enhanced projected sound intensity, increased projector efficiency, and lengthened projector life, like the use of infrared reflecting coatings and particles on the projector plates, non-parallel sheet alignment in sheet stacks, and cooling means on one projector side.
