  • Patent number: 9029804
Abstract: We report the synthesis and characterization of four novel CCC-NHC pincer platinum(II) and palladium(II) complexes, which adopt a distorted square planar configuration. These complexes emit bright blue light in the solid state under UV irradiation with emissions that are stable in ambient atmosphere (O2 and H2O) for extended periods. We also report the synthesis and characterization of CCC-NHC pincer ligand nickel complexes, and solid state fluorescence spectra have been collected for two of the complexes reported. X-ray structural analysis of a representative compound exhibits a distorted square planar geometry. Finally, we report the synthesis and characterization of CCC-NHC pincer ligand complexes for abnormal carbenes, triazole, and BIA.

  • Patent number: 9028100
Abstract: The adjustable LED lens has a body having a light incident surface and a light-emitting surface respectively mounted on two opposite sides of the body. The light-emitting surface has a concave tapered surface. The adjustable LED lens is mounted on a holder. A distance between the adjustable LED lens and the holder is changeable. An LED is mounted on the holder, wherein a light generated by the LED passes through the light incident surface and the light-emitting surface of the body. The concave tapered surface of the light-emitting surface increases a light distribution angle to increase an illumination range and decrease a glare. The distance between the adjustable LED lens and the LED is changeable to adjust a light shape as desired.

  • Patent number: 9030582
Abstract: A transistor (24) which acts as a load-current source for a source follower amplifying transistor (22) for outputting a pixel signal to a pixel output line (40) is provided in each picture element (10), whereby a high bias current is prevented from passing through the high-resistance pixel output line (40), so that a variation in an offset voltage among picture elements is suppressed. Inclusion of the high-resistance pixel output line (40) into the source follower amplification circuit is also avoided, whereby the gain characteristics are prevented from deterioration. Thus, the S/N ratio of the picture element is improved so as to enhance the quality of the images.
