  • Patent number: 10748374
Abstract: A system and method providing a game for users to select predictive statements about a future sporting event that the user believes will become true. A user or gamer initiates the game contest by opening that game site and choosing a particular competitive sporting event from a list of competitive sporting events. The user is then presented with a pool of predictive statements relating to the chosen sporting event. Each contest has multiple users who compete with each other for points. After the conclusion of the competitive sporting event or events, based on the outcome and occurrences during the event, it is determined which of the predictive statements are true, and which are not. Points are awarded to users for true statements and the user with the most points is declared the winner.

  • Patent number: 10744411
Abstract: A simulation system includes a processor including hardware. The processor performs: a virtual space setting process of setting a virtual space in which a plurality of objects are arranged; a virtual camera control process of controlling a virtual camera corresponding to a point-of-view of a user wearing a head mounted display; and a display process of generating an image as viewed from the virtual camera in the virtual space as a display image on the head mounted display. In the virtual space setting process, the processor arranges at least one information display object controlled to follow a change in the point-of-view of the user in the virtual space. In the display process, when the information display object and an object in the virtual space have entered into a given positional relationship, the processor performs a change process of a display mode of the information display object or the object.

  • Patent number: 10679468
Abstract: To provide a gaming machine that can provide a new type of game that maintains or improves the interest of a player, and a method and program for providing a game. In the gaming machine 1, by removing symbols of a particular type and moving a following symbol, the ratio of symbols of types other than the particular type becomes higher in the symbol array formed on the display unit 27, and it is easier for the symbol array to configure a winning combination. Because the chance of winning is higher after the particular type of symbol is removed in this manner, it is possible to provide a new type of game where the interest of the player can be maintained or improved after the symbols are removed.
