Abstract: Executing a single instruction/multiple data (SIMD) instruction of a program to process a vector of data wherein each element of the packet vector corresponds to a different received packet.
Abstract: Provided are a MIMO transmission device and a MIMO transmission method which can improve reception quality of a response signal. A terminal (100) as the MIMO transmission device maps a first and a second element of the ACK/NACK signal vector formed from ACK/NACK signals onto a first and a second stream, respectively, and transmits the elements contained in a 2SC-FDMA symbol in a single slot. In the terminal (100), a response signal vector formation unit (140) forms [aSack, O] as the ACK/NACK signal vector in a first SC-FDMA symbol and [O, aSack] as an ACK/NACK signal vector in a second SC-FDMA symbol. A precoding unit (165) uses a unitary matrix to precode the ACK/NACK signal vector formed in the response signal vector formation unit (140).
Abstract: A method, system and device for MS handover are provided in an embodiment of the present invention. The method includes: receiving the handover-assisting information from the RS by the serving MR-BS; determining whether to recommend the RS to the MS as the target station according to the handover-assisting information by the serving MR-BS. The embodiments of the present invention enable the serving MR-BS to obtain related information from the RS and the serving MR-BS of the MS to better ascertain the potential target station and related information to be recommended to the MS. This helps improve the handover performance of the MS and reduce the failure rate.

Abstract: A system provides congestion control and includes multiple queues that temporarily store data and a drop engine. The system associates a value with each of the queues, where each of the values relates to an amount of memory associated with the queue. The drop engine compares the value associated with a particular one of the queues to one or more programmable thresholds and selectively performs explicit congestion notification or packet dropping on data in the particular queue based on a result of the comparison.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for simultaneously receiving a plurality of Packet Data Units (PDUs) are provided. In a method of receiving a plurality of PDUs, the plurality of PDUs, each PDU having an associated Sequence Number (SN), are received, one of the plurality of PDUs is input into a reception buffer, a first variable is updated based on the SN of the PDU input into the reception buffer, wherein the first variable indicates the highest SN of PDUs input into the reception buffer, a determination is made if a timer is running, if the timer is not running, a determination is made if all of the received PDUs are input into the reception buffer, and, if any of the received PDUs is not input into the reception buffer, a next PDU to be input into the reception buffer is awaited.
Abstract: A medium access control method is provided in which a control station transmits one specific frame to terminal stations, thereby arranging a schedule of a data transmission time of the control station and each of the terminal stations and allowing a time zone unused by a station for data transmission to be allocated to another station. The control station transmits a schedule frame having defined therein a time occupied by each of the terminal stations, thereby reducing overhead. Also, the completion of the preceding communication performed by another station is detected, thereby effectively using an idle time of a medium and improving transmission efficiency.
