  • Patent number: 11756383
Abstract: A processor of a gaming machine receives input via an player input device that selects a denomination for a play of a base game and displays symbols of a base game outcome at base game display positions of a display device. The processor randomly assigns to a configurable symbol of the base game outcome a prize that is based on the selected denomination and triggers a play of a feature game based on the play of the base game. For the play of the feature game, the processor retains each configurable symbol of the base game outcome at a corresponding feature game display position of the display device, and for each feature game display position without a configurable symbol, selects and displays a replacement symbol. The processor determines a feature game award based on a sum of prizes for each configurable symbol displayed at its feature game display position.

  • Patent number: 11745097
Abstract: A human-machine interface involves plural spatially-coherent visual presentation surfaces at least some of which are movable by a person. Plural windows or portholes into a virtual space, at least some of which are handheld and movable, are provided by using handheld and other display devices. Aspects of multi-dimensional spatiality of the moveable window (e.g., relative to another window) are determined and used to generate images. As one example, the moveable window can present a first person perspective “porthole” view into the virtual space, this porthole view changing based on aspects of the moveable window's spatiality in multi-dimensional space relative to a stationary window. A display can present an image of a virtual space, and an additional, moveable display can present an additional image of the same virtual space.

  • Patent number: 11745109
Abstract: An artificial intelligent agent can act as a player in a video game, such as a racing video game. The game can be completely external to the agent and can run in real time. In this way, the training system is much more like a real world system. The consoles on which the game runs for training the agent are provided in a cloud computing environment. The agents and the trainers can run on other computing devices in the cloud, where the system can choose the trainers and agent compute based on proximity to console, for example. Users can choose the game they want to run and submit code which can be built and deployed to the cloud system. A resource management service can monitor game console resources between human users and research usage and identify experiments for suspension to ensure enough game consoles for human users.

  • Patent number: 11745108
Abstract: In the case where a maximum number of valid objects that is a number equal to or less than a maximum number of designation objects is decreased from a first number that is equal to or greater than 2 to a second number that is equal to or greater than 1, the second number of the valid objects is maintained, and the valid objects, the number of which is a number by which the second number is exceeded, are changed to invalid objects. An individual parameter that is changed in accordance with game play is associated with each object. In the case where designation of a designation object is cancelled, the individual parameter thereof is set to an initial value. In the case where change to a valid object is made after change to an invalid object, the individual parameter immediately before being changed to the invalid object is maintained.

  • Patent number: 11738276
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing storage of video game content based on video game performance. A level is identified from among a sequence of playable levels of an active video game. A video of the performance of the identified level of the active video game is recorded. A video game performance metric for the identified level is determined. A greatest value of the video game performance metric stored in a database is received. In response to determining that a current value of the video game performance metric for the identified level of the active video game does not exceed the greatest value of the video game performance metric stored in a database, the recording of the video of the performance of the level of the video game is deleted.
