    Abstract: A method for fabricating a step-formed patterned layer is provided. First, a first patterned photo-resist dry film is formed on a first material layer. Next, a second material layer is formed on the first material layer and covers the first patterned photo-resist dry film. A second patterned photo-resist dry film is then formed on a second material layer, and the patterns of the first patterned photo-resist dry film and the second patterned photo-resist dry film are different and the second patterned photo-resist dry film further exposes the second material layer over the first patterned photo-resist dry film. Subsequently, the first material layer and the second material layer are partially removed by using the first patterned photo-resist dry film and the second patterned photo-resist dry film as a mask. The first patterned photo-resist dry film and the second patterned photo-resist dry film are then removed.

In this case, at least one of the second pads that does not electrically connect to anyone of the first pads electrically connects to the interconnection-wiring layer. In another case, a shielding portion, which electrically connects the interconnection-wiring layer, is provided around the second pad that doesn't electrically connect to anyone of the first pads. Furthermore, this invention also discloses a semiconductor device including the substrate.

The spindle has a clamping device and a transmission portion. This encoder connects with the transmission portion via an auxiliary timing belt. The spindle motor and the servo motor connect with the transmission portion via at least one driving timing belt. Only at most one of the spindle motor and the servo motor is to drive this transmission portion at any time during operation. So, it has a simple structure to achieve the clutching change function. It can save more space. And, it can significantly reduce the manufacturing cost.
