  • Patent number: 11132296
Abstract: The embodiments herein store tabulated values representing a linear or non-linear function in separate memory banks to reduce the size of memory used to store the tabulated values while being able to provide upper and lower values for performing linear interpolation in parallel (e.g., the same cycle). To do so, a linear interpolation system includes a first memory bank that stores the even indexed tabulated values while a second memory bank stores the odd indexed tabulated values. During each clock cycle, the first and second memory banks can output upper and lower values for linear interpolation (although which memory bank outputs the upper value and which outputs the lower value can vary). Using the upper and lower values, the linear interpolation system performs linear interpolation to approximate the value of a non-linear function that is between the upper and lower values.

  • Publication number: 20210161268
Abstract: A strap attachment device includes a strap connector configured to attach to a strap and a connecting plate secured on the surface of an article such as a bag or suitcase. The strap connector includes a connector post configured to removably engage and be secured by a locking member located beneath the connecting plate. The locking member is biased into a closed position by a mechanical biasing means, such as a spring. The connector post may include a flanged end configured to partially disengage the locking member causing the flanged end to mate with and be secured by the locking member responsive to being inserted into the connecting plate. A pull tab is further disposed on a pull track within the connecting plate. A user can disengage the connector post from the locking member by moving the pull tab along the pull track.

  • Publication number: 20210102034
Abstract: A manufacturing method of a continuous transparent polyimide film for a display includes the following steps providing a roll-to-roll polyimide film; providing a polyimide precursor, which is coated on the polyimide film; and baking the polyimide precursor at a baking temperature that is at least 20° C. higher than a glass transition temperature of the transparent polyimide film, such that the transparent polyimide film has an optical transmittance of greater than 85%, a chromaticity (b*) of less than 2, and a standard deviation of three axial refractive indices of the transparent polyimide film is less than 0.0012. Thus, the transparent polyimide film with reduced light leakage can be obtained.

  • Publication number: 20210037086
Abstract: Embodiments presented herein provide systems and methods for unifying data that is stored in disparate namespaces. A system described herein receives an electronic request for data associated with an entity. The electronic request includes a first identifier of the entity in a first namespace. The system includes a digital relation that maps the first identifier to a primary identifier. The system determines additional identifiers that map to the primary identifier in the relation. The additional identifiers are associated with the entity in respective additional namespaces. The system retrieves a consolidated set of profile data associated with the primary identifier, including attributes of the entity within the first namespace and attributes of the entity within the additional namespaces. The system generates an electronic response to the electronic request based on the consolidated set of profile data and sends the response to an application that submitted the electronic request.
