    Abstract: An over-voltage protection circuit includes an over-voltage detection circuit, a voltage generator and a switch for providing over-voltage protection between two pins of a USB Type-C port. The over-voltage detection circuit provides an over-voltage signal according to the level of the second pin. The switch includes a first end coupled to the first pin, a second end coupled to the second pin and a control end coupled to a control signal. When the over-voltage signal does not indicate an over-voltage occurrence at the second pin, the voltage generator provides the control signal having a first level for operating the switch in a first region. When the over-voltage signal indicates an over-voltage occurrence at the second pin, the voltage generator adjusts the control signal to a second level for cutting off the switch. The switch operates in a second region after the over-voltage occurrence and before the switch is cut off.

A tool is provided for scrolling through the transcript and rendering the portion of the audio according to the position of the scrolling. The lenticular lenses may be configured to enable stereoscopic viewing of the display. To enable more curvature in the display while ensuring satisfactory stereoscopic display performance, the display may have stereoscopic zones and non-stereoscopic zones. A central stereoscopic zone may be interposed between first and second non-stereoscopic zones. The non-stereoscopic zones may have more curvature than the stereoscopic zone. To prevent crosstalk within the lenticular display, a louver film may be incorporated into the display. The pixel array may have a diagonal layout and may be covered by vertically oriented lenticular lenses.

    Abstract: A method of fabricating self-aligned grids in a BSI image sensor is provided. The method includes depositing a first dielectric layer over a back surface of a substrate that has a plurality of photodiodes formed therein, forming a grid of trenches, and filling in the trenches with dielectric material to create a trench isolation grid. Here, a trench passes through the first dielectric layer and extends into the substrate. The method further includes etching back dielectric material in the trenches to a level that is below an upper surface of the first dielectric layer to form recesses overlaying the trench isolation grid, and filling in the recesses with metallic material to create a metallic grid that is aligned with the trench isolation grid.
