    Abstract: A fixing device for accurately fixing an optical assembly to a rear housing of an electronic device fixes the optical assembly in a predetermined position and includes a cover plate. The cover plate defines a hole and a limiting portion. The hole corresponds to a photosensitive portion of the optical assembly and the photosensitive portion is configured to protrude out of the cover plate. The limiting portion is configured to limit a movement of the optical assembly away from the rear housing before being fixed in position. The fixing device fixes the optical assembly in the predetermined position so that the assembly accuracy and efficiency are improved. An optical module including the fixing device, and an electronic device including the optical module are also provided.

    Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a method for forming an image sensor. The method includes forming a photodetector in a substrate. A lower interconnect portion of an interconnect structure is formed over the photodetector. A removal process is performed to define a first opening overlying the photodetector in the lower interconnect portion. A lower etch stop layer is formed lining the first opening. The lower etch stop layer has a U-shape in the first opening. An upper interconnect portion of the interconnect structure is formed over the lower etch stop layer. A light pipe structure is formed overlying the photodetector. The U-shape of the lower etch stop layer extends continuously along sidewalls and a bottom surface of the light pipe structure.

    Abstract: A controller for managing a battery pack includes: a detection terminal, for transmitting an enable signal when values of battery parameters for the battery pack satisfy a sleep condition, where the enable signal enables the detection circuit to detect whether the battery pack is connected to a load and whether the battery pack is connected to the charger; and a receiving terminal, for receiving a detection result transmitted by the detection circuit. The detection result indicates whether the battery pack is connected to at least one of the load and charger. The controller controls the battery pack to enter a sleep mode of the sleep modes based on the detection result. The controller also includes a control terminal, for transmitting a control signal to control an on/off state of a charging switch and/or a discharging switch. The control signal is generated by the controller based on the detection result.

According to an embodiment, the disclosed framework is able to dynamically predict which action (if any) a user might perform in response to receiving a given message. In some embodiments, for a given message, the action prediction framework can determine the probability that a user (e.g., sender, recipient) associated with the message may perform an action or set of action actions (e.g., open, forward, delete, reply, archive) related to the message. In some embodiments, the framework may be used to suggest a predicted action to the user. In some embodiments, a computing device may use the predicted actions to automatically perform the action. According to an embodiment, the action prediction framework includes a multi-label or multi-class model using a neural network.
