  • Publication number: 20190296982
Abstract: A network configuration development environment is disclosed. In particular, an editor configured to interface with multiple network devices simultaneously, to view and adjust their device configuration settings, is provided. The network configuration development environment allows a system administrator to manage configuration definitions (e.g., run-time or start-up device configuration parameters) relative to a plurality of network devices simultaneously to achieve correctness and appropriate consistency for each of those devices in a network infrastructure. The network development environment may include an ability to apply changes directly to one or more network devices or to apply changes to stored “configuration files” that are associated with individual devices.

  • Publication number: 20190296971
Abstract: A network configuration change validation environment is disclosed. In particular, this disclosure is related to an interface to initiate automated test actions (e.g., network monitoring commands, application monitoring commands, etc.) and to view results in an efficient manner to support a network communication infrastructure. In one example, results of a set of commands executed prior to a configuration change may serve as a baseline and one or more results of the same set of commands may be intelligently compared to the baseline to identify any potential issues that have arisen. For example, as a result of a specific network configuration change or application update. The disclosed network change validation command initiator and validation report viewer represent part of an overall network configuration change validation environment that includes automated techniques such that it may be used within a given change window.

  • Publication number: 20190296983
Abstract: A network configuration development environment including an insights enabled editor is disclosed. In particular, this disclosure is related to an editor that provides just-in-time information in an insights area to assist a network developer to configure parameter settings for one or more network devices. In one example, attributes of a switch are the area of focus of a current edit session, and, based on this area of focus, the insights editor may query the switch to obtain current information. Information returned from the switch may be provided in an “insights area” visible to the user about to edit settings for that same switch. The disclosed insights editor represents part of an overall network configuration development environment that includes automated techniques to assist with network configuration, design and maintenance.

  • Publication number: 20190226987
Abstract: The present invention makes use of a modular Folded Tubular Photometer to measure the concentrations of gas-phase species and/or particles, including especially air pollutants such as ozone (O3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2) and black carbon particulate matter, by means of absorbance of ultraviolet (UV), visible or infrared (IR) light. The optical bench makes use of modular components (tubes and mirror assemblies) that allow construction of path lengths of up to 2 meters or more while maintaining low detection cell volumes. The long path lengths, low cell volumes, and the innovation of pressure equalization during the absorbance measurements enable sensitive detection of ambient air pollutants down to low part-per-billion levels or less for gas species, and extinctions down to 1 Mm?1 or less for particulate matter, corresponding to ˜0.13 ?g/m3 or less for black carbon particulates.

  • Patent number: 10286294
Abstract: A competitive table game includes a rapidly spinning game wheel, an annular collection area, a base, and a plurality of rollable playing pieces. The game wheel is rotatably connected onto the base while the annular collection area is concentrically positioned around the game wheel. During each game, the players roll the plurality of rollable playing pieces on a smooth top surface of the game wheel as the plurality of rollable playing pieces is tangentially positioned on the smooth top surface and released attempting to match the linear velocity at the respective position on the game wheel. Then the plurality of rollable playing pieces moves across the smooth top surface and drops into the annular collection area, where the winner of each game is determined according to the game rules of each different game and the positioning of the plurality of rollable playing pieces. Other embodiments are described and shown.

  • Patent number: 10274117
Abstract: In one embodiment, the invention is directed to a high-pressure bi-directional sealing system having circumferentially extending outer support rings (1520, 1900), annular, axial seals (1600, 1800) between the outer support rings (1520, 1900) and a circumferentially extending inner support ring (1700) located between the annular, axial seals (1600, 1800). The outer support rings (1520, 1900), seals (1600, 1800), and circumferentially extending inner support ring (1700) are located within a space between an outer tube (1502) and an inner tube (1504) that is telescopically disposed within the outer tube (1502). Seals (1600) and (1800) are oriented in opposite directions. Specifically, the opening of seal (1600) is facing in a first direction and the opening of seal (1800) is facing in a second direction that is opposite the first direction. This configuration enables the high-pressure bi-directional sealing system to handle pressure in both directions.

  • Publication number: 20190123702
Abstract: A method to improve amplifier efficiency of operation relative to that of an amplifier with fixed biasing is operating channel dependent. A bias current for an amplifying transistor of an amplifier circuit is determined based at least in part on an operating channel. The amplifying transistor operates in a multi-channel system, where the bias current for the amplifying transistor operating at channels at an edge of a channel band is different from the bias current for the amplifying transistor operating at channels nearer a center of the channel band.

  • Patent number: 10270394
Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to an envelope tracking system that uses a single-bit digital signal to encode an analog envelope tracking control signal, or envelope tracking signal for brevity. In certain embodiments, the envelope tracking system can estimate or measure the amplitude of the baseband signal. The envelope tracking system can further estimate the amplitude of the envelope of the RF signal. The system can convert the amplitude of the envelope signal to a single-bit digital signal, typically at a higher, oversample rate. The single-bit digital signal can be transmitted in, for example, a low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) format, from a transceiver to an envelope tracker. An analog-to-digital converter (ADC or A/D) can convert the single-bit digital signal back to an analog envelope signal. Moreover, a driver can increase the power of the A/D output envelope signal to produce an envelope-tracking supply voltage for a power amplifier.

  • Patent number: 10148459
Abstract: Network service insertion includes determining a tunnel interface corresponding to a service entity to which an incoming packet is to be directed, the tunnel interface being determined based on software defined network (SDN) flow rules. Further, the incoming packet can be encapsulated based on a tunnel configuration corresponding to the tunnel interface to generate an encapsulated packet such that the encapsulated packet includes media access control (MAC) address headers and a virtual local area network (VLAN) tag associated with the incoming packet. The encapsulated packet can be sent to the service entity through the tunnel interface for network service insertion.

  • Publication number: 20180042998
Abstract: The invention features methods of treating melanoma by modulating an activity of GDF6 in melanoma cells. In one aspect, the methods involve downregulating an activity of GDF6, for example, by using an anti-GDF6 binding molecule, such as an inactivating antibody. Another aspect features treating a subject by first screening for the presence of GDF6 and then treating the subject with an inhibitor of a GDF6 activity. Screening assays for identification of modulators of an activity of GDF6 are also featured.
