  • Publication number: 20160128719
Abstract: A needle guide device for releasable mounting on an imaging transducer or on an adaptor bracket on an imaging transducer is disclosed. The needle guide device includes a universal lockable mounting member which is configured for slidable releasable engagement with a coupling member on a specially constructed imaging transducer or on a conventional imaging transducer onto which a specially constructed adaptor is mounted. The needle guide device makes use of a slidable mounting member to cooperate with the coupling member. The needle guide device is adjustable to establish various selectable angular trajectories for a needle and has a low profile form factor to result in the creation of a minimal blind zone when mounted on the transducer and even if establishing a large angle for shallow needle penetration.

  • Patent number: 9262503
Abstract: In embodiments of the present invention improved capabilities are described for identifying a first classification scheme associated with product attributes of a first grouping of products, identifying a second classification scheme associated with product attributes of a second grouping of products, and receiving a record of data relating to an item, the classification of which is uncertain. It may also involve receiving a dictionary of attributes associated with products and assigning the item to at least one of the classification schemes based on probabilistic matching among the attributes in the classification schemes, the attributes in the dictionary of attributes and the known attributes of the item.

The indicator is at least one of channel, channel bandwidth, out-of band spectral requirements, spectral mask requirements, error vector magnitude, modulation rate, and modulation type. A controller generates a control signal based at least in part on the power level and the indicator to control at least one of the bias current and the matching conditions of matching circuits. The matching conditions and bias current for channels at an edge of a channel band are different from the bias current and matching conditions for channels nearer a center of the channel band.

  • Patent number: 9099962
Abstract: A system and method improve amplifier efficiency of operation relative to that of a matching circuit with fixed matching conditions. A power level representing a level of transmission power from an amplifier circuit and an indicator of amplifier circuit operation are provided. The indicator is at least one of channel, channel bandwidth, out-of band spectral requirements, spectral mask requirements, error vector magnitude, modulation rate, and modulation type. The matching conditions for a matching circuit of an amplifying transistor are adjusted based at least in part on the power level and the indication where the matching conditions are different for channels at an edge of a channel band than for channels nearer a center of the channel band.

  • Publication number: 20150208341
Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable medium for managing power consumption in a network of network devices is disclosed. The computer-readable medium stores instructions, that when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform certain operations. The operations include monitoring network data traffic, establishing a network power management policy based on the monitored data traffic, and enforcing the network power policy. The enforcing is carried out by centrally managing a powered state of a portion of the network based on power consumption criteria.

  • Patent number: 9071596
Abstract: A network-based application can establish a secure network connection to a switch. A unique identifier (UID) is generated for the network-based application, and a secure authentication request is generated from the network-based application. The UID for the network-based application is embedded in the secure authentication request. The secure authentication request is communicated to the switch. A response to the secure authentication request is received from the switch. One or more operations are performed that utilize the UID to establish a secure communication channel between the network-based application and the switch.

  • Patent number: 8947181
Abstract: An arc runner assembly for use in a circuit interrupter provides a pair of arc runners that are situated at opposite sides of a stationary contact of the circuit interrupter. If used in a DC application, the arc runner assembly is configured to communicate a positive DC arc along one of the arc runners in a first direction away from the stationary contact and is further configured to communicate a negative DC arc along the other arc runner in another direction away from the stationary contact. The arc runner assembly additionally includes a support that is electrically engaged with a conductor of the circuit interrupter on a surface opposite that on which the stationary contact is disposed. The improved arc runner assembly advantageously facilitates extinction of electrical arc and extinguishes both positive and negative DC arcs in a DC application.

  • Publication number: 20150021855
Abstract: A competitive table game includes a rapidly spinning game wheel, an annular collection area, a base, and a plurality of rollable playing pieces. The game wheel is rotatably connected onto the base while the annular collection area is concentrically positioned around the game wheel. During each game, the players roll the plurality of rollable playing pieces on a smooth top surface of the game wheel as the plurality of rollable playing pieces is tangentially positioned on the smooth top surface and released attempting to match the linear velocity at the respective position on the game wheel. Then the plurality of rollable playing pieces moves across the smooth top surface and drops into the annular collection area, where the winner of each game is determined according to the game rules of each different game and the positioning of the plurality of rollable playing pieces. Other embodiments are described and shown.

  • Publication number: 20150021908
Abstract: A high-pressure bi-directional sealing system having outer support rings (30, 32), annular, axial seals (100, 300) between the outer support rings (30, 32), inner support rings (150, 160) located between the annular, axial seals (100, 300) and a redundant seal (200) that is located between the inner support rings (150, 160). The outer support rings (30, 32), seals (100, 300), inner support rings (150, 160) and redundant seal (200) are located within a space between an outer tube (12) and an inner tube (14) that is telescopically disposed within the outer tube (12). Seals (100) and (300) are oriented in opposite directions. Specifically, the opening of seal (100) is facing in a first direction and the opening of seal (300) is facing in a second direction that is opposite the first direction. This configuration enables the high-pressure bi-directional sealing system to handle pressure in both directions.

  • Patent number: 8859918
Abstract: A position indicator for a circuit breaker is provided. A circuit breaker housing assembly body has an alignment surface. The position indicator includes an indicator member having an alignment surface and an elongated spacer member. The indicator member is movably coupled to the circuit breaker housing assembly adjacent a terminal screw with the spacer member generally aligned with the terminal screw. The indicator member is structured to move between a first position, wherein the alignment surface is not aligned with the housing assembly body alignment surface, and a second position, wherein the alignment surface is aligned with the housing assembly body alignment surface. The spacer member engages the terminal screw and, if the terminal screw is in a terminal screw first position, the spacer member prevents the indicator member from moving into the indicator member second position.
