  • Publication number: 20200076591
Abstract: Systems and methods for encrypting and decrypting data during an active data communication are disclosed. In one embodiment, seed data is received. A number of first seed bits are extracted from the seed data. The extracted first seed bits is used to index into a first index location of first one-time pad (OTP) data and obtain system setup random data from the first OTP data. System configuration information including a number of cipher parameters is defined based on the system setup random data, where the number of cipher parameters includes encryption cipher parameters and decryption cipher parameters. The data is encrypted or decrypted based, respectively, at least on the encryption cipher parameters or the decryption cipher parameters to generate encrypted data or decrypted data respectively.

  • Patent number: 10581371
Abstract: A design is described for solar panel that allows for modular installation and efficient removal of panels irrespective of the panel's relative location in an array arrangement. A system is provided that includes a plurality of modular panels (such as solar power panels). These panels are rimmed by frames featuring one or more exterior-facing, grooved channels. A first channel—which may be used to mount the panel, and which replaces traditional railing installation systems—and a second channel that is configured to allow movement of one or more panel splices used to secure the panels together. Integrated electrical connection interfaces are provided on opposite side surfaces of the frames to couple with the electrical connection interfaces of adjacent panels to establish an electrical path between them.

  • Publication number: 20200033008
Abstract: An apparatus for feeding a fuel, characterized as irregularly shaped fuel chips, from a storage bin to a burner of a cooking grill, includes a conveyance having a plurality of vanes movable from a first position proximate to a fuel source to a second position proximate to a fuel delivery chute leading to the burner. A fuel supply is arranged to feed the fuel to the first position. A chute is arranged having a first end proximate to the second position and a second end proximate to the burner for delivery of the fuel from the vanes at the second position to the burner. The vanes are arranged to scoop up the fuel from the fuel source at the first position, and to deposit the fuel at the second position into the first end of the chute.

  • Publication number: 20190375421
Abstract: Embodiments described herein improve fuel economy by controlling a vehicle powertrain based on a predicted vehicle velocity. The vehicle velocity is predicted based on vehicle-to-vehicle data when a prediction horizon is a longer prediction horizon and the vehicle velocity is predicted based on historical drive cycle data when the prediction horizon is a shorter prediction horizon. A time duration of the shorter prediction horizon is shorter than the time duration of the longer prediction horizon. A plurality of drive cycles are established for both the longer and the shorter prediction horizons using a neural network. A shorter prediction horizon drive cycle uses nonlinear autoregressive exogenous model neural networks and the longer prediction horizon drive cycle uses two layer feedforward neural networks. The predicted vehicle velocity is determined from a similar drive cycle of the plurality of drive cycles of either the shorter and/or the longer prediction horizon drive cycles.
