  • Patent number: 9075890
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for using an application program interface (API) client controller to build a model view include a requestor, an executor, a converter, and one or more web APIs. Developers can create web pages that are a collection of references to API queries. The requestor maps an API path to an API request or an API call. The executor executes the API request to an API to retrieve content data. The converter then converts the retrieved content data returned by the API request to a data structure. The retrieved content data (structure) can be stored in a memory device. Multiple content data structures may be requested and stored. The data structure or data structures are then inserted in a web page template to create a model view.

  • Patent number: 8995626
Abstract: Described is a technology by which a storage at a telephone device (e.g., a client telephone) is synchronized with information corresponding to actions performed at a computing device (e.g., a server) on behalf of the client. For example, the server may employ speech recognition to recognize a name or number spoken into the client telephone, and in response, dial out a corresponding telephone number for the client telephone. This action is synchronized back to the client storage so that the client's call history includes knowledge of the server's dialing action. Thereafter, an action at the telephone device that accesses the call history (e.g., for redialing or scrolling) obtains the full call history, independent of whether the telephone device or computing device performed the action. Changes made via telephone device may be similarly synchronized to the computing device, such as directly dialed calls, user-input speed dial information, and so forth.

  • Patent number: 8974091
Abstract: A heat-dissipating structure for an LED lamp has a lamp cover, and a power conversion device and a ceramic substrate mounted inside the lamp cover. The lamp cover has multiple heat-dissipating holes and multiple mounting ears. Each mounting ear is formed on an edge of one of the heat-dissipating holes and is bent inwardly with the heat-dissipating hole uncovered. The ceramic substrate is mounted on the mounting ears. The ceramic substrate has multiple LEDs mounted thereon, absorbs heat generated when the LEDs emit light and conducts the heat to the lamp cover through the mounting ears. The heat generated when the LEDs are lit and the power conversion converts a mains power is transferred to a heat convection space between the ceramic substrate and the lamp cover, and is further dissipated to an ambient environment, thereby achieving fast heat dissipation and a light LED lamp without an additional heat sink thereon.

  • Publication number: 20140228681
Abstract: Amplitude decorrelation measurement is sensitive to transverse flow and immune to phase noise in comparison to Doppler and other phase-based approaches. However, the high axial resolution of OCT makes it very sensitive to the pulsatile bulk motion noise in the axial direction, resulting in unacceptable signal to noise ratio (SNR). To overcome this limitation, a novel OCT angiography technique based on the decorrelation of OCT signal amplitude due to flow was created. The full OCT spectrum can be split into several narrower spectral bands, resulting in the OCT resolution cell in each band being isotropic and less susceptible to axial motion noise. Inter-B-scan decorrelation can be determined using the narrower spectral bands separately and then averaged. Recombining the decorrelation images from the spectral bands yields angiograms that use the full information in the entire OCT spectral range.
