  • Publication number: 20170248277
Abstract: A light-emitting diode (LED) light source includes a plurality of electricity-conducting holding elements, and each electricity-conducting holding element is made of a thin metal sheet. The bendable LED light source increases installation of sufficient number of LED dies by lengthening the length of the LED light source. The LED light source is bent to form a spring-like helical structure and then is placed inside a lamp cover. The helical LED light source is fastened on a T-shaped element by a plurality of fastening elements and the T-shaped element is fixed on an insulated holder. Accordingly, a bulb-type LED lamp is implemented.

  • Publication number: 20170214066
Abstract: A modular fuel cell structure includes an anode conductive sheet, an air electrode sheet, a separating membrane, and a cathode conductive sheet stacked on a casing. The casing has a reaction vessel, and also has a first, a second, and a third flow passages, which all communicates with the reaction vessel, and are all independent. Said modular structure forms a fuel cell system with a first storage tank, a second storage tank, a retrieval device, and a feeding device which controls the first and the second storage tanks to deliver a first and a second materials to the casing. The first and the second materials are respectively injected into the reaction vessel for reaction through the first and the second flow passages, and then exhausted to the retrieval device through the third flow passage after the reaction. With the independent flow passages, the efficiency of power generation could be improved.

  • Patent number: 9697934
Abstract: Surface-mountable conductive polymer devices include a conductive polymer layer between first and second electrodes, on which are disposed first and second insulation layers, respectively. First and second planar conductive terminals are on the second insulation layer. A first cross-conductor connects the second electrode to the first terminal, and is separated from the first electrode by a portion of the first insulation layer. A second cross-conductor connects the first electrode to the second terminal, and is separated from the second electrode by a portion of the second insulation layer. In some embodiments, at least one cross-conductor includes a beveled portion through the first insulation layer to provide enhanced adhesion between the cross-conductor and the first insulation layer, while allowing greater thermal expansion without undue stress.

  • Publication number: 20170169590
Abstract: Methods and systems for suppressing shadowgraphic flow projection artifacts in OCT angiography images of a sample are disclosed. In one example approach, normalized OCT angiography data is analyzed at the level of individual A-scans to classify signals as either flow or projection artifact. This classification information is then used to suppress projection artifacts in the three dimensional OCT angiography dataset.

  • Patent number: 9662815
Abstract: A vertical injection molding machine is provided with a base, a lower mold mounting unit, an injection device, a pressing mold unit, and an upper mold mounting unit. Since the pressing mold unit and the injection device are all disposed on the upper seat of the base, and therefore are located above the lower seat, the lower mold mounting unit, the upper mold and the lower mold. With this design, the height to the ground from the lower seat can be substantially reduced. Namely, the heights of the lower seat, the lower mold mounting unit and the upper and lower molds with respect to the user are reduced to an ergonomic height, which makes operation of the injection molding easier and convenient, while reducing danger and enhancing work safety.

  • Publication number: 20170139890
Abstract: Smart cards are used to provide a consolidated summary of tabular data from a collaboration database. Card layouts may be responsive to table schema and present data consistently across different devices and platforms. Cards may have pre-set layouts designed to present content in a user-friendly manner enhancing user experience and enabling interactivity. Card layouts may be determined by a set of pre-defined rules, which may be based on a type of data in a first column of an underlying table and types of data in other columns (such as images, communications, and other forms of rich data).
