  • Patent number: 9604396
Abstract: A mold clamping device for an automatic mold opening and closing machine is used to clamp or release an upper mold which has a pair of wings. The mold clamping device is provided with two pressure cylinder units located at two lateral surfaces of the mold mounting unit, two pivot units pivoted to the two pressure cylinder units, respectively, and two clamping members pivotally disposed between the pressure cylinder units and the pivot units. When the first piston is in the first position, the clamping member will be rotated an angle to disengage the inner portion from the wing of the upper mold, and when in the second position, the piston will drive the clamping member to rotate an angle in a reverse direction, so that the wing of the upper mold is clamped between the inner portion and the bottom surface of the mold mounting unit.

  • Publication number: 20170055829
Abstract: A method for detecting glaucoma in a subject based on spatial frequency analysis of the inner limiting membrane (ILM) as obtained from optical coherence tomography (OCT) image data is disclosed. Based on the spatial frequency content of the analyzed ILM profile, a quantity called the Retinal surface contour variability (RSCV) is calculated and the presence or absence of a glaucoma condition is determined based on the RSCV magnitude.

  • Patent number: 9579016
Abstract: Embodiments of OCT measurement and analysis techniques described herein enable precise 3D anterior chamber angle measurement from major, pertinent landmarks in the eye. Such techniques result in a more reliable, quantifiable angle measurement technique that is both non-invasive and non-contact in nature, thereby improving clinical practicality, while improving patient comfort and care. For example, a method is provided for in vivo imaging of an eye, including taking a plurality of optical coherence tomography (OCT) line scans of an eye to obtain a 3-dimensional (3D) radial scan pattern, the individual line scans including a plurality of axial scans, and obtaining a three-dimensional image of an anterior chamber angle of the eye from the radial scan pattern.

  • Publication number: 20170043505
Abstract: A compression-molding machine for making shoe soles has two ends equipped with a first moving mold wall and a second moving mold wall, respectively. A fixed mold wall is located between the two moving mold walls. The compression-molding machine uses two pressing cylinders to drive to the two second moving mold walls, respectively, so as to make the two moving mold walls move toward the fixed mold wall, thereby allowing the single machine to perform compression molding with two molds. Since the fixed mold wall is immovable, the two molds when performing compression molding are independent of each other. The first pressing cylinder and the second pressing cylinder can be operated separately, so as to eliminate the problem of the conventional compression molding machine where compression molding can only be performed when both of its two molds are positioned, thereby saving manufacturing time and improving productivity of compression molding.

  • Publication number: 20160331229
Abstract: Impaired intraocular blood flow within vascular beds in the human eye is associated with certain ocular diseases including, for example, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. A reliable method to quantify blood flow in the various intraocular vascular beds could provide insight into the vascular component of ocular disease pathophysiology. Using ultrahigh-speed optical coherence tomography (OCT), a new 3D angiography algorithm called split-spectrum amplitude-decorrelation angiography (SSADA) was developed for imaging microcirculation within different intraocular regions. A method to quantify SSADA results was developed and used to detect perfusion changes in early stage ocular disease. Associated embodiments relating to methods for quantitatively measuring blood flow at various intraocular vasculature sites, systems for practicing such methods, and use of such methods and systems for diagnosing certain ocular diseases are herein described.
