  • Patent number: 9829480
Abstract: A portable handheld wireless breath alcohol monitoring device (RBAM) utilizes facial recognition from an enrollment image or gallery of images accumulated over time, and automatic retesting if an initial test is positive for alcohol or of an initial facial match is negative. A location fix is captured with each breath test taken by an offender. After each breath test, the breath alcohol content (BrAC), date and time of the breath test, facial image data, and location fix are uploaded through a built-in cellular phone module in the RBAM to a monitoring station. The monitoring station evaluates each breath test and determines if immediate notification to a supervising agency is needed. If so, an email, text message, or page is sent to the supervising agency. RBAM enables the monitoring of lower-risk offenders or offenders who have earned the privilege of a less intrusive alcohol testing and monitoring program.

  • Publication number: 20170204623
Abstract: A tile spacing tool is disclosed herein that spans a gap between tile rows where the gap is sized to receive a decorative insert or the like. The spacing tool spans the gap and transfers the weight of the upper tile rows across the gap to the lower tile rows, which are supported by a floor or ledge. As a result, the entire wall can be built including the decorative insert without waiting for the bottom tile rows to dry to support the weight of the tile rows above the decorative insert.

  • Publication number: 20170149817
Abstract: A first computer is selected for testing. Information sent from a second computer system to the first computer is intercepted. The information is modified to be noncompliant with a communication protocol, thereby producing noncompliant information. A determination is made whether the first computer device has failed to provide a particular response to receipt of the noncompliant information, and an operation is performed based at least in part on the determination.

  • Patent number: 9580196
Abstract: A method for packing bitumen in a continuous process is disclosed. To pack the bitumen, a tray having one or more bitumen-receiving cavities is prepared. The cavity of the tray is coated with polymer film and bituminous film consecutively. Following that, the bitumen, in liquid form, is filled into the coated cavity. Additional layer of bituminous and polymer film are then consecutively laid over the bitumen-filled cavity, encapsulating the bitumen thereto. A system to form such bitumen package is also disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 9571465
Abstract: Data security is enhanced by injecting insecurity into communications between two computer systems to test one of the computer systems. The insecurity is injected by modifying the communications between the two computer systems by modifying or adding messages. A response from one of the computer systems is monitored to determine whether the computer system reacts to the modification in a secure manner or if mitigating actions need to be performed.

  • Publication number: 20160311568
Abstract: The present invention describes a method (600, 600a) of forming bitumen bags (605) for packaging bitumen products into blocks or slabs. Each block/slab of bitumen (200,200a,200b,200c) is encapsulated in the bitumen bag, which is composed of a bitumen compound (160). The bitumen compound (160) is made up of about 10-30% by weight of natural bitumen and about 5-25% by weight of a synthetic rubber polymer and copolymers. The bitumen compound (160) is melted with the bitumen content and is fully miscible with the molten bitumen, leaving no residue but enhances the physical properties of the resultant bitumen mixture.

  • Patent number: 9200467
Abstract: A stacking base system for transporting to a work site supports a plurality of vertical posts. Each of a plurality of base members defines a fill port and includes a port plug adapted to be removably inserted in the fill port, and defines a post aperture, shaped to correspond to a cross-section of the posts, extending downward through the base member. Three legs extend down from outer edges each base member, and are equally spaced around the base member, and substantially equally spaced from the post aperture. The post aperture is oriented vertically when bottom ends of the legs are resting on a horizontal surface. The base members are stacked such that a top portion of a lower base member engages a bottom portion of a next adjacent upper base member and such that the plurality of base members forms a base stack.
