  • Patent number: 9576323
Abstract: In a database that is associated with the retailer POS system, inventory is flagged as being FSA-eligible and a retailer POS system is programmed to support FSA debit card auto-adjudication, i.e., the retailer POS system is IIAS certified. The FSA-eligible information that is stored in the retailer POS database is also used to flag for a customer FSA-eligible items presented to the user online, e.g., in an online catalog. When an FSA-eligible item is purchased on-line or at a retailer POS, the FSA debit card information is captured and the purchase transaction is processed by the retailer POS system so the customer has easy access to FSA purchases via either channel.

  • Patent number: 9323476
Abstract: Methods for managing region lock in a storage controller are disclosed. Upon receiving in a hardware based region lock management circuit a data request, the region lock management circuit determines a lock type of a region lock specified in the data request and conditionally creates a region lock data structure, wherein the region lock data structure is conditionally created based on the type of the region lock requested. The region lock management circuit further determines whether the data request is requesting access to at least a portion of a locked data region and the lock type of the locked data region. If the data request is requesting access to at least a portion of the locked data region and the lock type of the locked data region permits firmware diversion, the region lock management circuit diverts the data request to a storage controller firmware processor for further processing.

  • Patent number: 9296359
Abstract: An airbag includes a bag body and a buffering pad. The bag body includes a cushioning surface and an opposite back surface, which together define an air chamber between them. The cushioning surface and the back surface are partially sawed and clinched in certain pattern. The air chamber of the bag body is provided with an air inlet. The buffering pad is partially connected to the periphery of the cushioning surface side of the bag body. The size of the buffering pad is smaller than that of the cushioning surface. While the airbag is inflated, the bag body is deployed at a limited thickness due to the clinched sawing and also pulled by the smaller sized buffering pad into an arch formed air shield. At the same time a buffering space is formed between the buffering pad and the cushioning surface.

  • Patent number: 9251005
Abstract: Disclosed is a power isolation and backup system. When a power fail condition is detected, temporary storage is flushed to an SDRAM. After the flush, interfaces are halted, and power is removed from most of the chip except the SDRAM subsystem. The SDRAM subsystem copies data from an SDRAM to a flash memory. On the way, the data may be encrypted, and/or a data integrity signature calculated. To restore data, the SDRAM subsystem copies data from the flash memory to the SDRAM. On the way, the data being restored may be decrypted, and/or a data integrity signature checked.

  • Patent number: 8987933
Abstract: A power over one-pair Ethernet approach. A data transformer is coupled to a single conductor pair using one or more direct current (DC) blocking elements that preserve an alternating current path. The data transformer enables a network device to transmit and receive data with a link partner device via the single conductor pair. Power transmission over the single conductor pair is enabled through the coupling of a power over Ethernet module to the single conductor pair using a diode that can be paired with a zener diode.

  • Patent number: 8774177
Abstract: A technique for classifying traffic at a network node includes programming multiple on-chip memory arrays with identical search entries, receiving multiple packets, and distributing classification searches related to the packets among the multiple on-chip memory arrays. In an embodiment, the on-chip memory arrays are content-addressable memory (CAM) arrays. In another embodiment, the distributing of classification searches related to the packets is performed in an alternating fashion with respect to a fixed order.

  • Patent number: 8676660
Abstract: Once a purchaser has proceeded through a check out experience with an online retail system, the settings established during that checkout experience will be applied to future checkout experiences by that purchaser. By capturing and thereafter using checkout settings in this manner, a purchaser can proceed from a shopping cart directly to a checkout review page with the checkout review page being pre-populated with such prior established settings. Furthermore, the methodology allows the purchaser to have a virtually unlimited number of goods in their shopping cart and to have multiple different types of order fulfillment options (e.g., shipping, store pickup, delivery to an organization, etc.) automatically established for those goods.

  • Patent number: 8661273
Abstract: Embodiments of power sourcing equipment (PSE) utilizing AC disconnect are provided herein. In one embodiment, a PSE is provided that includes a DC supply configured to provide a DC voltage over a data communications medium, a controller configured to provide an AC disconnect signal over the data communications medium, and a parallel inductor-capacitor (LC) circuit coupled between the DC supply and the data communications medium. The parallel LC circuit is configured to isolate the DC supply from the AC disconnect signal. In another embodiment, a PSE is provided that includes a DC supply configured to provide a DC voltage at an output, an inductor coupled between the output of the DC supply and a data communications medium, and a capacitor coupled between the data communications medium and ground. The inductor and capacitor form a series LC circuit configured to generate an AC disconnect signal.

  • Publication number: 20130339190
Abstract: A user interface for displaying retail search results is disclosed. The system and methods allow users to search for a plurality of retail items while simultaneously viewing a plurality of search results for each of the plurality of retail items. This interface allows users to easily compare the search results for each retail item, and to purchase a plurality of retail items simultaneously. In one example of the present disclosure, users may enter a plurality of retail items into a shopping list. The system may then display multiple results for each item on the shopping list in a carousel-like user interface, so users may view a plurality of results for a plurality of items simultaneously.
