  • Patent number: 7463030
Abstract: A HIFU compatible receiving coil for MRI radio-frequency signals has an antenna and an amplifier connected to each other, each for receiving and amplifying MRI radio-frequency signals, and a filter positioned in front of the amplifier for filtering the HIFU low frequency signals received by the antenna at the same time as receiving the MRI radio-frequency signals. In a method for receiving the MRI radio-frequency signals and then for amplifying the same, the received MRI radio-frequency signals are filtered before being amplified, so as to filter out the HIFU signals received at the same time as the MRI radio-frequency signals. By this filtering, the HIFU signals among the HIFU signals and MRI radio-frequency signals simultaneously received by the antenna are filtered out at the same time as the HIFU treatment, and the remaining MRI radio-frequency signals are connected into the MRI system after being amplified by the amplifier for real-time imaging.

  • Publication number: 20080285834
Abstract: The invention discloses a method and an apparatus for reconstructing a parallel-acquired image, comprising: generating reconstruction data by combining uniformly under-sampled data and low-frequency fully-sampled data in MRI K-space according to a hybrid sampling mode; calculating the sensitivity distribution of a coil according to said low-frequency fully-sampled data; and reconstructing an image according to the reconstruction data, the coil's sensitivity distribution and the hybrid sampling mode. The signal to noise ratio of the reconstructed image is effectively improved by using the reconstruction data combined with the low-frequency fully-sampled data in reconstructing the image since the low-frequency fully-sampled data contains more useful information.

  • Publication number: 20080285833
Abstract: The invention discloses a method for calculating the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in parallel acquisition image reconstruction, comprising: determining a reconstruction expression for a linear operation of the image reconstruction; determining a weighted coefficient according to the reconstruction expression; calculating the SNR according to the weighted coefficient and the raw data. The SNR not only is relevant to the geometric shape and position of the coils, but also is influenced by the reconstruction method and the sampling mode. The SNR is calculated based on contribution of the raw data at positions in the reading direction from all the phase-coding lines in all acquisition channels. It reflects more precisely the loss of the SNR in the parallel acquisition image reconstruction, especially the changes in the SNR caused by the number of the reference lines combined during the reconstruction.

  • Publication number: 20080277822
Abstract: An apparatus for periodically cooling injection mold has a cavity formed between a cavity insert and a core insert of the injection mold. The bottom of the cavity defines a perforation that extends and passes through a lower pushing plate. An ejector pin is received in the perforation. The bottom end of the ejector pin passes out of the lower pushing plate and is above the top surface of a lower fixed plate. A sensor switch that controls several electric valve actuators is located on the lower fixed plate and is below the ejector pin. The electric valve actuators control cooling liquid to flow into several cooling pipes that are configured in the cavity insert and the core insert respectively. A method for periodically cooling injection mold includes the steps of: closing the injection mold and pouring raw materials into the cavity to form a product; pushing the ejector pin downward along the perforation and the bottom of the ejector pin touching and pressing the sensor switch.

  • Patent number: 7432711
Abstract: A coil arrangement for a magnetic resonance apparatus has a number of coil elements that are capable of being operated independently of one another and are situated around a common central area. Each coil element of the coil arrangement is capacitively or inductively decoupled from the coil elements of the coil arrangement that are immediately adjacent to this coil element. In the central area, there is situated a capacitor network that connects the coil elements of the coil arrangement to one another. The capacitor network is fashioned and dimensioned such that it at least reduces the coupling of each coil element of the coil arrangement to at least one additional coil element of the coil arrangement that is not immediately adjacent to the respective coil element.

  • Publication number: 20080238426
Abstract: In a method and magnetic resonance (MR apparatus for reducing aliasing artifacts in the imaging for MR-monitored high intensity focused ultrasound HIFU therapy, a primary coil is used to receive the MR signals, and an additional coil is provided to receive interfering MR signals that form aliasing artifacts in the MR-monitored HIFU therapy imaging. The MR signals received by the primary coil and the interfering MR signals received by the additional coil are concurrently acquired. The interfering MR signals received by the additional coil are removed from the MR signals received by the primary coil. MR images are generated based on the MR signals with the interfering MR signals removed. Aliasing artifacts caused by the interfering MR signals thus are removed from the MR images without reducing the resolution of the scanned body parts in the MR images. In addition, the MR scanning time can be maintained by using a proper phase oversampling technology in the concurrent signal acquisition.
