Abstract: A juice machine includes a cutter module, and the cutter module includes a cutter turntable, a filter, and a cutter flywheel. The filter includes a bottom plate, a first side plate protruded and tilted upwardly from an external periphery of the bottom plate, a filter plate horizontally extended from the top of the first side plate, a tilted second side plate protruded upwardly from an edge of the filter plate, an opening formed at the center of the bottom plate, a plurality of first meshes formed on the first side plate, a plurality of second meshes formed on the filter plate, a plurality of third meshes formed on the second side plate. Therefore, the weight of the filter can be decreased to provide a stable filter and reduce vibrations and noises. The juice machine can enhance both juice squeezing efficiency and juice yield.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cation-exchanged zeolite catalyst for an transiodination and a process for producing mono-iodo benzene by using it. Particularly, the cation-exchanged zeolite catalyst has a molar ratio of Si/Al from 5 to 100 and is ion-exchanged with an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal in range of 2% to 50% of ion exchange capacity. Further, the process for producing mono-iodo benzene of the present invention comprises the step of performing a transiodination by using the cation-exchanged zeolite catalyst to produce mono-iodo benzene from reactants including benzene and one or more multi-iodo benzenes selected from the group consisting of di-iodo benzene and tri-iodo benzene.

Abstract: A juice extracting cup used in a juice extractor comprises a cup body and a filter net. The cup body is hollow and has openings at two ends and several longitudinal ribs projected from inner wall. A supporting strip along the inner wall of the cup body is projected from the inner wall below the several ribs. The filter net is disposed inside the body cup, and several clip strips are projected at the bottom end of outer wall of the filter net. Several openings correspond to the several ribs between every two clip strips, and each of the several openings hosts the respective rib. The several clip strips are clipped between bottom ends of the several ribs and the supporting strip. The juice extracting cup used in the juice extractor according to the present invention can effectively prevent the filter net from falling off and thus the effect of juice extracting can be guaranteed.

Abstract: A sound effect sensing turntable for a digital music broadcaster includes a capacitive charge sensing plate able to independently detect the variation of charge. A signal transmission unit is disposed between the sensing plate and a control plate for transmitting signals and thus, on receiving a signal, the control plate will produce relative sound effect to be output. In operating, when a DJ's fingers slightly touch the turntable, the sensing plate will sense charge variation on the turntable and actuate the control plate to control corresponding sound effect. By detecting the variation of charge on the turntable for controlling sound effect, the mode of touching the turntable of this invention for producing sound effect is like that of conventionally controlling a vinyl record for controlling sound effect, getting rid of conventional defect of producing wrong sound effect due to assembly errors.

The improved assembly includes at least two integrally formed chainrings configured to be attached to a bicycle crankarm via mounting apertures formed in the assembly. Abstract: A flywheel based energy storage apparatus and method are disclosed. The flywheel based energy storage apparatus includes a housing and a hub-less flywheel mounted within the housing. The hub-less flywheel has a mass which is shifted radially outwards from a central axis of the hub-less flywheel thus increasing the energy density of the apparatus. The flywheel includes an outer axially extending annular surface, an inner axially extending surface and two radially extending side surfaces. The inner axially extending surface has a plurality of magnets aligned to form a rotor. A plurality of coils is supported by the housing and is aligned with the rotor to form a motor/generator. A controller controls the motion of the hub-less flywheel to reduce vibrations and controls electrical power transfer to and from the motor/generator.

Abstract: A method for distinguishing unbalanced disc in an optical disc reproducing/recording apparatus, comprising following steps: moving an optical pickup head to a first position of an optical disc; rotating the optical disc to a predetermined rotating speed; transferring a focus error signal produced by the optical pickup head to a focus control voltage signal; controlling the optical pickup head by the focus control voltage signal to maintain a focus light spot produced by the optical pickup head on the optical disc; and distinguishing if the optical disc is an unbalanced disc according to the focus control voltage signal.

Abstract: A juicer having safety mechanism with its handle is disclosed, where the handle is used to buckle its cover. A contact switch is fixed in the body of the juicer and connected in series with a starting circuit of the juicer motor. As the handle buckles the cover, a moving element with a through hole is forced to move down, which enables the through hole to be aligned with a contact member of the contact switch. During the handle buckling the cover, the prop pillar is held to pass through the through hole of the moving element to reach the contact member of the contact switch for turning on the contact switch. On the other hand, if either the cover or the handle is not in place, the contact switch is in power disconnection. Accordingly, the objective of the safety protection can be truly fulfilled.

In the motion object detection method, a background model establishing step is firstly performed to establish a background model to provide a plurality of background brightness reference values. Then, a foreground object detecting step is performed to use the background model to detect foreground objects. In the background model establishing step, a plurality of brightness weight values are firstly provided in accordance with the brightness of background pixels, wherein each of the brightness weight values is determined in accordance with the relative background pixel. Thereafter, the background brightness reference values are calculated based on the brightness of the background pixels and the brightness weight values. In addition, a computer can perform the motion object detection method after reading the computer-readable storage medium.
