Abstract: This invention is to provide a media controller, comprising a touch panel, which is set up to combine with the screen, and each location on the touch panel is equipped with the “touch” feature, where the touch feature is the location at the screen designed to associate with control commands of a multimedia software such that a virtual command of the multimedia software at the screen can be directly controlled by a finger touching at the touch panel; a micro controller unit (MCU), connected with the touch panel and a physical control device, and the MCU receives a command from the touch panel or the physical control device for carrying out operations and for an output, where the control command of the output is transmitted to the PC through a transmitting wire; and the physical control device includes a number of control elements, which empowers the operator to directly control the software virtual control elements on the screen.

Abstract: A digital sound effect processing device includes an analog/digital converter, a digital signal processor, and a digital/analog converter. The analog/digital converter converts analog frequency signals input by a signal input unit into digital signals to be output. The digital signal processor has one input terminal connected with the analog/digital converter and another input terminal connected with a music access unit for collecting digital audio data input by the analog/digital converter and original music data stored in the music access unit and changing the broadcasting sound effects of the original music data according to the digital audio data and then digitally outputting the sound effects. The digital/analog converter converts the digital music output by the digital signal processor into analog music to be broadcast through a loudspeaker.

Abstract: A media controller is disclosed, which is a memory storing device, made up of an operating system and a piece of multimedia software, where the operating system is made merely for the multimedia software and available for the booting. And the multimedia software is an application program running on the operating system and is able to fetch the songs stored in the computer for overdubbing and sound effects processing. The selection of the memory storing device is the first priority to read during the booting. Once the new setting is saved, the computer is then ready to reboot. The memory storing device then takes charge of the execution of the operating system in the memory storing device. A user is then ready to run the multimedia software on the operating system, and further to operate the input device to fetch the songs stored in the computer for overdubbing and sound effects processing, to greatly achieve the stable playing of sound effects by making use of the existing computer equipment.

Abstract: A method for distinguishing unbalanced disc in an optical disc reproducing/recording apparatus, comprising following steps: moving an optical pickup head to a first position of an optical disc; rotating the optical disc to a predetermined rotating speed; transferring a focus error signal produced by the optical pickup head to a focus control voltage signal; controlling the optical pickup head by the focus control voltage signal to maintain a focus light spot produced by the optical pickup head on the optical disc; and distinguishing if the optical disc is an unbalanced disc according to the focus control voltage signal.

Abstract: An electrical socket comprises an insulative housing including a base with a cover moveably assembled thereon. An actuator is arranged between the base and the cover, and has a lever and a cam device to move the cover from a first position to a second position, wherein an interengaging arrangement is arranged between the lever and the housing, and has guiding means for properly positioning the lever and the cover in the second position easily.

Abstract: A portable electronic apparatus functioning as a pen-table, includes a touch-screen module for detecting contact with an external object and creating position data of a detected region. The portable electronic apparatus, by functioning as a pen-table, eliminates the need to install or carry a mouse, a pen-table, etc. for controlling a personal computer, a laptop computer or the like. A local area communication module transmits and receives data based on a local area communication protocol, and a display module displays the detected region and information on a user interface (UI) and functions of the apparatus. A controller controls the operations of the modules in response to the user's input so as to transmit position data created by the touch-screen module to an electronic device that includes the functions of a pen-table and local area communication.

Abstract: A watermarking method is provided. The method includes: the steps of creating an entire watermark for an image frame by using a secret key; dividing an image frame of the digital image file into divided frames by at least one row and at least one column; applying a predetermined watermark creating algorithm to pixel data of each divided frame to generate a unit watermark; and applying the unit watermarks with the digital image file. The step of creating the unit watermark uses a public key or applies a keyless algorithm. Another watermarking method includes the steps of dividing the image frame into a plurality of divided frames, each divided frame partially overlapping neighboring divided frames; applying a predetermined watermark creating algorithm to pixel data of each divided frame to generate a unit watermark; and applying the unit watermarks with the digital image file.

Abstract: Disclosed is a touch screen system and a control method therefor. The touch screen system includes a display displaying at least one working window; a touch panel outputting a predetermined signal in correspondence with a touch input on the display; a coordinate value calculation unit calculating coordinate values of the touch input based on the signal outputted from the touch panel; a coordinate value storage unit storing coordinate value information indicating active regions for active working windows; a decision unit deciding whether the calculated coordinate values exist in the active regions which the coordinate value information stored in the coordinate value storage unit indicates; and a control unit interrupting a response to the touch input if the calculated coordinate values exist outside the active regions as a result of the decision of the decision unit. Accordingly, the present invention can reduce input errors, to thereby prevent delaying desired processings.

Abstract: A sound effect sensing turntable for a digital music broadcaster includes a capacitive charge sensing plate able to independently detect the variation of charge. A signal transmission unit is disposed between the sensing plate and a control plate for transmitting signals and thus, on receiving a signal, the control plate will produce relative sound effect to be output. In operating, when a DJ's fingers slightly touch the turntable, the sensing plate will sense charge variation on the turntable and actuate the control plate to control corresponding sound effect. By detecting the variation of charge on the turntable for controlling sound effect, the mode of touching the turntable of this invention for producing sound effect is like that of conventionally controlling a vinyl record for controlling sound effect, getting rid of conventional defect of producing wrong sound effect due to assembly errors.
