Abstract: A device receives, from a short-range wireless communication device associated with a safe deposit box, first data identifying a first transaction card, and identifies a bank employee associated with the first data. The device determines whether the bank employee is authorized to access the safe deposit box, and starts a timer when the bank employee is authorized to access the safe deposit box. The device receives, from the short-range wireless communication device, second data identifying a second transaction card, and determines whether the second data is received prior to an expiration of the timer. The device identifies a customer associated with the second data when the second data is received prior to the expiration of the timer, and determines whether the customer is authorized to access the safe deposit box. The device causes the safe deposit box to be unlocked when the customer is authorized.

Abstract: A device receives position information from a sensor of the device, wherein the position information indicates a position of a user of the device and a position of a person proximate to the user. The device receives lighting information from the sensor, wherein the lighting information indicates lighting conditions around the device and the user. The device calculates a position adjustment for an infrared element of the device based on the position information and the lighting information, and calculates an intensity adjustment for the infrared element based on the position information and the lighting information. The device receives, via an input element of the device, input data provided by the user, and implements the position adjustment and the intensity adjustment to enable the infrared element, when illuminated, to reflect light away from the input element and to prevent image or video capture of the input data.

Abstract: Aspects described herein may allow for authenticating a user by generating a customized set of authentication questions based on spending patterns that are automatically detected and extracted from user data. The user data may include transaction data collected over a period of time that may indicate the types of merchants that a user frequently transacts with. By automatically detecting user patterns that correspond to user behavior over a period of time, an authentication system may be able to generate authentication questions about those spending patterns that are easily answerable to an authentic user but difficult to guess or circumvent for any other user.

Abstract: In some implementations, a device of a user may receive user input indicative of a selection of an application implemented by the device. The user input may be received via a graphical user interface presented by the device. The user input may be received while the application is in an unlaunched state in which the user is unauthenticated for use of the application. The device may obtain, while the application is in the unlaunched state, one or more messages of the application. The device may cause, while the application is in the unlaunched state, information indicative of at least one message, of the one or more messages, to be displayed in the graphical user interface.

Abstract: A processor may receive data and generate a quantified representation of the data by processing the data using at least one machine learning (ML) algorithm, the quantified representation of the data indicating a sentiment of content of the data. The processor may automatically revise the content of the communications data. The revising may include determining a reaction to the content of the communications data, generating a quantified representation of the reaction, determining a difference between the quantified representation of the reaction and the quantified representation of the communications data, identifying, based on the difference, a portion of the content having an unintended sentiment, and replacing the portion of the content with different content.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to a method for reducing fraud in computer networks, the method including receiving, from each of a plurality of user devices, a request to block an ad displayed within a web browser installed on the user device, the request comprising image data and a forwarding URL associated with the ad; storing crowdsourced ad blocking data based on the received requests to block ads; receiving a request for a list of blocked ads; generating a list of blocked ads based on analyzing the crowdsourced ad blocking data, wherein analyzing the crowdsourced ad blocking data comprises identifying ads blocked by at least a threshold number of users; and sending the list of blocked ads to a first user device, the first user device comprising a browser extension configured to prevent ads within the list of blocked ads from being rendered in a browser.

Abstract: Described is an Automated Teller Machine (ATM), and related systems (and methods), that allows for applications (or “Apps”) to be accessed on the ATM. The system allows for a third-party application to be verified and installed on ATMs to provide users with additional services. The application may access peripherals of the ATM via an Application Programming Interface (API) provided as part of a Software Development Kit (SDK). Accordingly, the system may provide a secure mechanism for ATM providers to provide users with the benefits of accessing third-party applications. Moreover, these applications may leverage specialized ATM peripherals and provide functionality that may not otherwise be available on other types of devices.

Exercise and/or physical activity goal criteria can be retrieved for a user. Electronic charge approval criteria can be retrieved for the user, the electronic charge approval criteria based on the exercise and/or physical activity goal criteria. It can be determined whether the exercise and/or physical activity goal criteria has been fulfilled using an electronic measurement system, the electronic measurement system measuring motion data and/or heart rate data for the user. A requested electronic charge can be authorized upon a determination that the electronic charge approval criteria for the user has been fulfilled.

Abstract: Systems and methods for encoded communications are disclosed. In some embodiments, a server system may be configured to receive a communication from a user interface at an encoded communication module that includes an artificial intelligence based natural language processing module, determine whether the received communication is an encoded communication, decode the encoded communication to generate a financial query when it is determined that the received communication is an encoded communication, retrieve financial data associated with the user, determine an answer to the financial query based on the retrieved financial data, encode the determined answer to generate an encoded responsive communication, and transmit the generated encoded responsive communication to the user interface for providing to a user of the user interface.

Abstract: Disclosed systems and methods provide an augmented environment that facilitates a donation to a charity. A system may receive organization data including data associated with a plurality of charitable organizations. The system may also receive (i) environmental data including an image of an object, and (ii) location data indicating the image location. Further, the system may identify the object and determine one or more qualifying charities associated with the object. The system may augment the environmental data by adding enhanced content such as an identification of the qualifying charity, transmit the enhanced content to a mobile device for display, and initiate a transfer of funds from a user account to a charity financial account associated with the qualifying charity.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for inserting payment information into payment forms without user interaction. A system can identify that a user has navigated to a web page operated by a merchant computer system for a merchant and identify a payment form within the web page. The system can then execute a payment request API which generates a query for saved payment credentials for the user from the merchant computer system. When the merchant computer system indicates it does not have the saved payment credentials for the user, the system can identify browser-saved payment credentials stored in the Internet browser, then generate a virtual payment information associated with the browser-saved payment credentials. The virtual payment information can then be inserted into corresponding fields of the payment form without the user entering any additional information.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for generating virtual account-linked cards are described. A virtual account-linked card may be generated in response to a determination that a physical account-linked card has been forgotten at a card reader and ingested by the card reader.
