A method for block device level compression mapping using the flat hash table includes compressing uncompressed data to compressed data, retrieving an entry of the flat hash table using an uncompressed block address of the uncompressed data, determining a compressed block address of the compressed data by executing at least one hash function and by determining a hash function in the at least one hash function for mapping the uncompressed block address to the compressed block address that corresponds to a space in a block storage device, storing the compressed data to the space that corresponds to the compressed block address, and updating the hash function index of the entry of the flat hash table with an index indicative of the hash function.

    Abstract: A high-formability hot galvanized aluminum-zinc or hot galvanized aluminum-magnesium dual-phase steel having a tensile strength of ?590 MPa and a rapid heat treatment hot dipping fabrication method, the steel comprising the following components in mass percentage: C: 0.045-0.12%; Si: 0.1-0.5%; Mn: 1.0-2.0%; P: ?0.02%; S: ?0.006%; and Al: 0.02-0.055%. The present invention changes the recovery of a deformed structure, ferrite recrystallization and austenite transformation processes during annealing by means of rapid heat treatment, and the nucleation point of a crystal is increased, grain growth time is shortened, the strength and formability (n90 value) of the material is improved while heat treatment efficiency is improved, which thus extends the performance range of the material.

    Abstract: According to an aspect of the present inventive concept there is provided a photonic integrated circuit, PIC, comprising a waveguide array. Each waveguide is configured to guide a light signal. All guided light signals originate from a common light beam or multiple mutually coherent light beams. Each waveguide is associated with a mutually unique modulator, providing modulation, by a modulation signal, of phase and/or amplitude of the light signal, forming a modulated light signal. The modulation signals of all modulators have a common modulation period, such that the modulated light signal comprises a plurality of sideband frequencies representing different orders of frequency shifts based on harmonics of the modulation period. A free propagation unit comprising inputs associated with the waveguides receives the modulated light signals. The modulated light signals propagate freely in two spatial dimensions through the free propagation unit and interfere to form output signals.

    Abstract: A method and a system for detecting pesticide residues in tea based on a surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) sensor are provided. An octahedral gold-silver hollow cage-based sensor is prepared, mixed with a pesticide standard solution and analyzed to obtain SERS spectral data. The SERS spectral data is processed, and a quantitative model is established based on the processed SERS spectral data. Based on the quantitative model, the detection of thiram and pymetrozine in tea samples can be completed. By means of an octahedral cuprous oxide template, gold-silver octahedral hollow cage (Au—AgOHCs) nanomaterials are prepared by reduction of gold and silver ions and removal of the template by acid dissolution, so as to prepare the SERS sensor, which can be applied to the rapid and quantitative detection of thiram and pymetrozine in tea samples.

    Abstract: A wind field interpolation simulation method based on isogeometric sampling, the main steps of generating a wind speed time series in the present invention are as follows: first, inputting basic parameters of wind field simulation and the number of initial sampling points, and selecting the sampling points by an isogeometric sampling method. Then calculating the maximum relative error of all frequency bands by a relative error defined, and judging a fitting error and an allowable error given. If the fitting error is greater than the allowable error, increasing the number of sampling points and reselecting the sampling points; if the fitting error is less than or equal to the allowable error, finishing point selection, and using an interpolation function to calculate a lower triangular matrix required by the simulation. Thus a fluctuating wind field can be generated by a harmonic superposition method.

    Abstract: In an indoor environment on fire, automatic deployment of sensors disposed on, beneath or over the floor to look upward the ceiling to observe a body of smoke and flame risen near the ceiling allows important information regarding states and dynamics of the body of smoke and flame to be gathered at an early stage of fire (e.g. before arrival of firefighters). By distributing the sensors over the indoor environment, the states and dynamics of the body of smoke and flame are monitored holistically (i.e. as a whole) even at the early stage of fire. Such information is useful to predict development of the fire. In one implementation, a sensor is held in an infrastructure sensor holder mounted on the ceiling during normal time. Upon detecting occurrence of fire, the sensor drops from the holder to land on the floor and orients a sensing direction vertically upward to perform monitoring.

A diffusion model reduces a resolution of the image features at an intermediate stage of the model using a wavelet transform to obtain reduced image features at a reduced resolution, and generates an output image based on the reduced image features using the diffusion model. In some cases, the output image comprises a version of the input image that has a reduced noise level compared to the noise level of the input image.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a high-resolution graphene heterojunction based pressure sensor. The present disclosure relates to the technical field of pressure sensor design. The present disclosure uses a graphene/hexagonal boron nitride/graphene (G/h-BN/G) vertical heterojunction thin film as a pressure-sensitive diaphragm. A sensor substrate has a micro-nano arrayed concave cavity structure. Under the action of atmospheric pressure, the G/h-BN/G vertical heterojunction thin film generates localized internal stress, which changes an energy band structure of the vertical heterojunction thin film, and thus changes a tunneling current between the two upper and lower graphene layers, thereby reflecting the external atmospheric pressure changes. The principle of the graphene heterojunction based pressure sensor is based on tunneling effect.
