  • Patent number: 10461805
Abstract: One or more link training signals are received, including instances of a link training pattern, on a plurality of lanes of a physical link that includes at least one valid lane and a plurality of data lanes. The plurality of lanes are trained together using the link training signals to synchronize sampling of the valid lane with sampling of the plurality of data lanes. An active link state is entered and a valid signal received on the valid lane during the active link state. The valid signal includes a signal held at a value for a defined first duration and indicates that data is to be received on the plurality of data lanes in a second defined duration subsequent to the first duration. The data is to be received, during the active link state, on the plurality of data lanes during the second defined duration.

  • Publication number: 20190327145
Abstract: Techniques described herein may be used to condense a large quantity of Virtual Network Function (VNF) chains (that each correspond to a network service) into a much smaller quantity of VNF records; and extract any of the large quantity of VNF chains from the smaller quantity of network service records. This may be accomplished by assigning a Number (No.) of Services attribute and a Tier attribute into each VNF record. The No. of Services attribute and Tier attribute may enable the VNF records to reference one another such that the larger quantity of VNF chains may, in effect, be entirely represented by the much smaller quantity of VNF records, thereby conserving storage space, streamlining VNF chain management, and reducing the processing and memory capacity required to search, configure, and deploy virtual network services.

  • Publication number: 20190317911
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for communicating a control signal between device components are provided. Within an apparatus, an integrated circuit (IC) sends a control signal to a system on chip (SoC). The control signal requests enablement or disablement of one or more resources corresponding to the IC. Thereafter, a converting circuit within the SoC converts the control signal from the IC into a command to be transmitted to one or more devices. The converting circuit then transmits the command to the one or more devices via a bus coupling the SoC to the one or more devices. The one or more devices includes one or more power management integrated circuits (PMICs) configured to control the one or more resources.

  • Publication number: 20190318282
Abstract: A system and methods for an enterprise framework for efficient and adaptable workflow application data distribution using a Software Deployment Management (SDM) environment such as Pega® are described. Workflow data is received by the system from a workflow management application and modeled for downstream use. Use of a consumer data provisioning point (CDPP) agent includes utilization of a central control table that assists with the extraction, transformation and loading of workflow data from a proprietary format to a modeled relational forma. An end to end (E2E) automation process is controlled by the CDPP agent which facilitates extraction of data from upstream Pega® applications with configurable frequency for the transformed data. Embodiments of the invention provide efficiency improvements by automating numerous steps and eliminating the need for human input for various steps in the process of workflow data distribution and enable near-real-time data distribution and analytics.

  • Patent number: 10447983
Abstract: A reciprocal approximation circuit has a first iteration circuit for generating an approximate reciprocal value of an operand. The operation of the first iteration circuit is controlled by two bits of the operand, which indicate a range in which the operand lies. The first iteration circuit uses hardware friendly initial values based on the two bits for generating the approximate reciprocal value. The reciprocal approximation circuit does not require any additional circuit for selecting an initial value for the first iteration circuit.
