  • Patent number: 10414086
Abstract: A method of forming a thermoformed article may include melt extruding polyethylene to form an extruded sheet. The rheological breadth parameter of the polyethylene may change by no more than about 5% after extrusion relative to the rheological breadth parameter of the polyethylene prior to extrusion. The extruded sheet may be thermoformed within a mold to form the thermoformed article. During thermoforming, the extruded sheet may be subjected to solid-state stretching in one or more directions. The thermoformed article may be retrieved from the mold. The polyethylene may have a rheological breadth parameter of from 0.20 to 0.40, a multimodal molecular weight distribution, a polydispersity (Mw/Mn) of from 5 to 18, a density ranging from 0.940 to 0.970 g/cc, may exhibit tensile strain-hardening, or combinations thereof.

  • Patent number: 10417374
Abstract: A method for designing a system on a target device includes synthesizing the system. The system is placed on the target device. The system is routed on the target device. Register retiming is performed on the system by applying timing analysis constraints, retiming constraints, bound constraints, and ordering constraints when solving for retiming labels that represent a number and direction of register movement along a path between nodes in the system, and arrival times on all nodes in the system to reflect the maximum delay in the system, to improve timing and meet target delay constraints.

  • Patent number: 10417310
Abstract: Various systems and methods for inking reflowable content are described herein. In an example, the system includes a processor and storage with instructions that in response to execution on the processor cause the processor to identify inking input. In an example, the inking input is identified in a content area of a reflowable document. In an example, the system capture an image of the inking input and the content area indicated by the inking input. In an example, the system may also capture an ink stroke of the inking input. The ink stroke of the inking input and the image of the inking input and content area can be provided for display in response to a detection that the reflowable document is being displayed in a modified context.

  • Publication number: 20190279027
Abstract: Methods and systems for extracting impression marks from a substrate (e.g., paper, foil, textile, etc.). In an example embodiment, an image of a substrate can be captured. Then, physical impressions on the substrate can be detected in the image. The physical impressions are scanned and highlighted a digital image configured, which is indicative of the actual physical impressions. The scanning and highlighting of the physical impressions can involve enhancing the image to digitally and electronically reproduce the physical impressions. This approach can be implemented in the context of a mobile scanning application that scans the physical impression(s) and highlights it, and saves the resulting image as an electronic document.

  • Publication number: 20190278574
Abstract: A compiler generates an accelerated version of a serial computer program that can be executed on a parallel processor. The compiler analyzes the serial computer program and generates a graph of nodes connected by edges. Each node corresponds to an operation or value set forth in the serial computer program. Each incoming edge corresponds to an operand that is specified or generated in the serial computer program. The compiler partitions the graph of nodes into two different types of partitions; a first type of partition includes one or more nodes that correspond to one or more pointwise operations, and a second type of partition includes one node that corresponds to one operation that is performed efficiently via a library. For each partition, the compiler configures a sequence of kernels that can be executed on the parallel processor to perform the operations associated with the computer program in an accelerated fashion.

  • Patent number: 10410575
Abstract: Devices and methods for underrun compensation are provided. By way of example, a technique for underrun compensation includes determining a particular one of a plurality of pixel configurations for a display. When an underrun condition is detected during processing of first image data via an image processing pipeline, at least a portion of requested image data for downstream processing has not yet been provided by an upstream processing component. Accordingly, upon detecting an underrun condition, underrun pixel data for the at least portion of the requested image data is generated, based upon the particular one of the plurality of pixel configurations.

  • Publication number: 20190272155
Abstract: The disclosure describes methods and apparatus for quickly prototyping of a solution developed using one or more sensing devices (e.g., sensors), functional blocks, algorithm libraries, and customized logic. The methods produce firmware executable by a processor (e.g., a microcontroller) on an embedded device such as a development board, expansion board, or the like. By performing these methods on the apparatus described, a user is able to create a function prototype without having deep knowledge of the particular sensing device or any particular programing language. Prototypes developed as described herein enable the user to rapidly test ideas and develop sensing device proofs-of-concept. The solutions produced by the methods and apparatus improve the functioning of the sensor being prototyped and the operation of the embedded device where the sensor is integrated.
