  • Patent number: 9565546
Abstract: Various methods, apparatus, and computer readable media are disclosed for enhanced system acquisition while a user equipment (UE) is roaming. The UE may detect roaming from a coverage area associated with a first public land mobile network (PLMN) supporting hybrid voice and data to a coverage area associated with a second PLMN without support for hybrid voice and data. In response to the detection, the UE may store data corresponding to the second PLMN such that the second PLMN is a registered PLMN (RPLMN). The UE may initiate system acquisition, wherein the system acquisition includes searching for the RPLMN prior to searching for any other PLMN. The other PLMN may include a home PLMN (HPLMN). The coverage area associated with the first PLMN may be within a first country, and the coverage area associated with the second network may be within a second country different from the first country.

  • Publication number: 20170032571
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for displaying information on a heads up display (HUD). A background image is captured with a camera. A plurality of regions of the background image are analyzed to determine a region-wise image attribute for each of the plurality of regions. A symbology having a symbology attribute is generated and overlaid on an overlay region of the background image to generate a heads up display image. The overlay region is one of the plurality of regions of the background image. The symbology attribute is adjusted based on the region-wise image attribute of the overlay region to generate an adjusted heads up display image. • Publication number: 20170023391
Abstract: The present invention provides for a device or feature that incorporates a technique or means for flow measurement in a fluid flow system. By way of example, a contoured insert may be specifically calibrated to the pipe line size to ensure the desired accuracy of the flow measurement, irrespective of pipe length between the device and other fluid system components that would negatively influence other flow rate measurement devices. This in turn reduces the total number of components needed in a system.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for implementing a non-shifting reservation station. A dispatch unit may write an operation into any entry of a reservation station. The reservation station may include an age matrix for determining the relative ages of the operations stored in the entries of the reservation station. The reservation station may include selection logic which is configured to pick the oldest ready operation from the reservation station based on the values stored in the age matrix. The selection logic may utilize control logic to mask off columns of an age matrix corresponding to non-ready operation so as to determine which operation is the oldest ready operation in the reservation station. Also, the reservation station may be configured to dequeue operations early when these operations do not have load dependency.

  • Patent number: 9552853
Abstract: A method for calibrating a read data path for a DDR memory interface circuit from time to time in conjunction with functional operation of a memory circuit is described. The method uses the steps of issuing a sequence of read commands so that a delayed dqs signal toggles continuously. Next, delaying a core clock signal originating within the DDR memory interface circuit to produce a capture clock signal. The capture clock signal is delayed from the core clock by a capture clock delay value. Next, determining an optimum capture clock delay value. The output of the read data path is clocked by the core clock. The timing for the read data path with respect to data propagation is responsive to at least the capture clock.

  • Patent number: 9552308
Abstract: A request associated with a particular cache record is generated to be sent to a system component associated with a cache bank over an interconnect. A wake-warn signal is sent over a dedicated wake-warn channel to indicate to the system component that the request is to arrive. Wake-warn signals cause a disabled clock to be ungated to an enabled state. The request is then sent to the system component.
