  • Patent number: 9668556
Abstract: Implementations of the present disclosure disclose an adjustable display housing assembly. According to one implementation, the adjustable display housing assembly comprises a base housing and a display panel housing. Furthermore, a first hinge is attached to the base housing and a moveable arm extends from the first hinge at a first end to a second hinge at an end opposite the first end. In addition, a flexible mounting plate is included to attach the second hinge to the display housing. When the display housing is placed in a closed position, a pivot point associated with the second hinge is retracted by the flexible mounting plate. And when the display housing is placed in a first viewing position, the pivot point associated the second hinge extends away from the display housing.

  • Publication number: 20170135214
Abstract: A programmable circuit includes an array of printed groups of microscopic transistors or diodes. The devices are pre-formed and printed as an ink and cured. A patterned hydrophobic layer defines the locations of the printed dots of the devices. The devices in each group are connected in parallel so that each group acts as a single device. Each group has at least one electrical lead that terminates in a patch area on the substrate. An interconnection conductor pattern interconnects at least some of the leads of the groups in the patch area to create logic circuits for a customized application of the generic circuit. The groups may also be interconnected to be logic gates, and the gate leads terminate in the patch area. The interconnection conductor pattern then interconnects the gates for form complex logic circuits.

  • Publication number: 20170125002
Abstract: An acoustic-to-electronic bass drum conversion kit describes the parts needed to convert an acoustic bass drum into an electronic bass drum trigger and amplification device. My invention includes a front panel assembly which has at least one loudspeaker mounted on a panel which fits over the front of a bass drum shell, and a rear panel assembly which has an amplifier and an impact sensitive kick pad mounted on a rear panel. After discarding the front and rear drum heads and hoops, the front and rear panel assemblies are attached to the bass drum shell using conventional lug, tension rod and claw bracket technology. My invention provides the desired look of an acoustic bass drum for drummers who desire an electronic drum amplification system.

  • Publication number: 20170125372
Abstract: A programmable circuit includes an array of printed groups of microscopic transistors or diodes. The devices are pre-formed and printed as an ink and cured. The devices in each group are connected in parallel so that each group acts as a single device. In one embodiment, about 10 devices are contained in each group so the redundancy makes each group very reliable. • Publication number: 20170126021
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a power receiving unit having a wireless power receiver configured to receive a wireless power signal from a power transmitting unit. A rectifier includes a plurality of switching circuits configured to generate a rectified voltage from the wireless power signal, based on switch control signals that include a switch-on signal and a switch-off signal for corresponding ones of the plurality of switching circuits. A rectifier control circuit generates the switch control signals based on predicted switching delays. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9639470
Abstract: An interconnect has coherency control circuitry for performing coherency control operations and a snoop filter for identifying which devices coupled to the interconnect have cached data from a given address. When an address is looked up in the snoop filter and misses, and there is no spare snoop filter entry available, then the snoop filter selects a victim entry corresponding to a victim address, and issues an invalidate transaction for invalidating locally cached copies of the data identified by the victim. The coherency control circuitry for performing coherency checking operations for data access transactions is reused for performing coherency control operations for the invalidate transaction issued by the snoop filter. This greatly reduces the circuitry complexity of the snoop filter.

  • Publication number: 20170118253
Abstract: A telecommunication network 20 configures a telecommunication device 11 and makes and controls communication connections between telecommunication devices. The telecommunication network 20 is configured such that, in use, on initiation of the telecommunication device 11, such as an Internet Protocol telephone or video telephone, a telecommunication device identifier to identify the telecommunication device 11 is output to a computer system or provisioning server 41 via the Internet 10. The computer system 41 receives the telecommunication device identifier and, in response, outputs to the telecommunication device 11, via the Internet 10, an indication of a telecommunication device control system or PBX 12 for use by the telecommunication device 11. The telecommunication device control system 12 is subsequently usable by the telecommunication device 11 to make and control communication connections between the telecommunication device 11 and other telecommunication devices.
