  • Publication number: 20170359306
Abstract: A gateway or other network device may be configured to monitor endpoint behavior, and to request a verification of user presence at the endpoint under certain conditions suggesting, e.g., malware or other endpoint compromise. For example, when a network request is directed to a low-reputation or unknown network address, user presence may be verified to ensure that this action was initiated by a human user rather than automatically by malware or the like. User verification may be implicit, based on local behavior such as keyboard or mouse activity, or the user verification may be explicit, such as where a notification is presented on a display of the endpoint requesting user confirmation to proceed.

  • Publication number: 20170354941
Abstract: An exemplary compounding method of controlling a compounding device to prepare an admixture of at least two distinct material sources can include examining material source solutions for incompatibility of the ingredients and operating a first and a second pump to prevent one of the incompatible source solutions from entering a common flow path. The processing method can detect degradation of a fluid line by evaluating one or more of calibration error rate data, cumulative volumetric flow data, or cumulative pump operation data. The processing method can also selectively transfer a first group of source solutions using the first pump, receiving pump data from one or more sensors that sense actions of the pumps, applying fluid correction factors and calculating discrete pump movements, the pump movements being indicative of an amount of source solution displacement by a pump, and operating the pumps to selectively dispense the source solution amounts according to a preparation order.

  • Publication number: 20170315785
Abstract: Management of an authoring session in which a declarative document is authored by multiple authoring entities. The declarative document is a computer program that is formed of declarative statements made in a declarative programming language. The management occurs by evaluating incoming requests to engage in various ways in an authoring session. The engagement might include initiating an authoring session, attaching to an existing authoring session, or performing actions (such as read, write, publish, save, share, and so forth). The management uses job tokens that are issued to the multiple authors in a manner that concurrent authoring is possible. Upon receiving the request for engagement in the authoring session, the corresponding job token is evaluated to determine whether the requestor is authored to engage as requested. The engagement is then performed if permitted.
