  • Publication number: 20240172985
Abstract: A neural stimulus comprises at least three stimulus components, each comprising at least one of a temporal stimulus phase and a spatial stimulus pole. A first stimulus component delivers a first charge which is unequal to a third charge delivered by a third stimulus component, and the first charge and third charge are selected so as to give rise to reduced artefact at recording electrodes. In turn this may be exploited to independently control a correlation delay of a vector detector and an artefact vector to be non-parallel or orthogonal.

  • Publication number: 20240162925
Abstract: Supporting suppression of distortion caused by a power amplifier, “PA”, included in a transmitter system configured to perform digital predistortion, “DPD”, and feedforward, “FF”, linearization on multiple digital input signals relating to different frequency bands, respectively. The PA is used for power amplification in preparation for transmission by a wireless communication network and is operative with an instantaneous bandwidth, “IBW’”. Information is obtained identifying one or more intermodulation, “IM”, components outside the frequency bands but within the IBW, and caused by said PA. The identified IM components are selectively processed as part of said DPD to thereby suppress formation of at least some of the identified IM components, and/or as part of the FF linearization by adding reference signals to the FF linearization, which reference signals correspond to at least some of the identified IM components.

  • Publication number: 20240136060
Abstract: A patient monitoring hub can communicate bidirectionally with external devices such as a board-in-cable or a dongle. Medical data can be communicated from the patient monitoring hub to the external devices to cause the external devices to initiate actions. For example, an external device can perform calculations based on data received from the patient monitoring hub, or take other actions (for example, creating a new patient profile, resetting baseline values for algorithms, calibrating algorithms, etc.). The external device can also communicate display characteristics associated with its data to the monitoring hub. The monitoring hub can calculate a set of options for combined layouts corresponding to different external devices or parameters. A display option may be selected for arranging a display screen estate on the monitoring hub.

  • Patent number: 11944439
Abstract: An implantable device for controlling electrical conditions of body tissue. A feedback sense electrode and a compensation electrode are positioned proximal to the tissue to make electrical contact with the tissue. A feedback amplifier is referenced to ground, and takes as an input a feedback signal from the feedback sense electrode. The output of the feedback amplifier is connected to the compensation electrode. The feedback amplifier thus drives the neural tissue via the compensation electrode in a feedback arrangement which seeks to drive the feedback signal to ground, or other desired electrical value.

  • Patent number: 11894488
Abstract: LED chips and related fabrication methods are disclosed. A LED chip includes an active layer arranged on or over a light-transmissive substrate having a light extraction surface. The light extraction surface comprises a microtextured etched surface having a non-repeating, irregular textural pattern (e.g., with an average feature depth in a range of from 120 nm to 400 nm, and preferably free of any plurality of equally sized, shaped, and spaced textural features). The microtextured etched surface may be formed by applying a micromask having first and second solid materials of different etching rates over the light extraction surface, and exposing the micromask to an etchant (e.g., via reactive ion etching) to form a microtextured etched surface having a non-repeating, irregular textural pattern. Lumiphoric material may be applied over the microtextured surface.

  • Patent number: 11890113
Abstract: A method for processing a neural measurement obtained in the presence of artifact, in order to detect whether a neural response is present in the neural measurement. A neural measurement is obtained from one or more sense electrodes. The neural measurement is correlated against a filter template, the filter template comprising at least three half cycles of an alternating waveform, amplitude modulated by a window. From an output of the correlating, it is determined whether a neural response is present in the neural measurement.
