  • Publication number: 20170353226
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless device (e.g., an access point or a station) capable of supporting multiple chain configuration modes may monitor traffic on a wireless channel. The wireless device may, based on the monitoring, determine a series of values for a metric that is indicative of communication conditions. The metric may be a packet rate, channel congestion, or signal strength. The wireless device may dynamically select one of the supported chain configuration modes in which to operate based on the series of values for the metric. In some cases, the wireless device may compute a value for the metric based on the series of values and compare the value of the metric to a predetermined threshold. In such cases, selection of the chain configuration mode may be based on the results of the comparison. In some examples, one or metrics may be used.

  • Publication number: 20170344948
Abstract: Embodiments can enable coordinated access to electronic medical records (EMRs) by mobile devices in communication with an EMR coordination server over a communications network, thereby integrating the EMR access into the physician's workflow. The EMR coordination server can receive a schedule request for a physician via the mobile device, and can identify appointments associated with the physician. Each appointment can be associated with a patient, an EMR server identified as having the patient's records, and a network location and EMR schema. The physician can select an appointment to access associated fields. The fields can be populated with fresh data from the identified EMR server, accessed by its network location, and mapped according to its EMR schema. Field data can be updated by physician dictation (or otherwise) and dictated audio can be automatically transcribed. Embodiments can operate even in context of multiple EMR servers having multiple EMR schemas and/or network locations.

  • Patent number: 9740589
Abstract: A trace of a bounded liveness failure of a system component is received, by one or more processors, along with fairness constraints and liveness assertion conditions. One or more processors generate randomized values for unassigned input values and register values, of the trace, and simulate traversal of each of a sequence of states of the trace. One or more processors determine whether traversing the sequence of states of the trace results in a repetition of a state, and responsive to determining that traversing the sequence of states of the trace does result in a repetition of a state, and the set of fairness constraints are asserted within the repetition of a state, and that the continuous liveness assertion conditions are maintained throughout the repetition of the state, a concrete counterexample of a liveness property of the system component is reported.
