  • Patent number: 11457370
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for performing a live upgrade process of one or more devices (e.g., access points (APs), etc.) in a large scale network environment. For example, the system can use neighbor path loss data between the APs. The neighbor path loss data may identify the signal strength between two points as an indication of the ability to transmit power and receive power from the individual APs. When the ability to transmit and receive power is present in one AP is unavailable the user device may connect to a second AP to avoid losing connectivity. This neighbor path loss data may be utilized to perform a live upgrade process of APs in parallel at multiple locations of the user site.

  • Patent number: 11436053
Abstract: A network appliance is configured to receive a packet having an address of a custom device as a source address. Policies are accessed that are applicable to a virtual network associated with the custom device. The policies are applied to the packet. • Publication number: 20220277744
Abstract: A vehicle includes an interface device, an in-vehicle control unit, a functional unit, and a processing circuitry. The interface device receives a spoken command to identify an in-cabin vehicle zone of two or more in-cabin vehicle zones of the vehicle, and receives background audio data concurrently with a portion of the spoken command. The in-cabin vehicle control unit separates the background audio data from the spoken command, and selects which in-cabin vehicle zone of the two or more in-cabin vehicle zones is identified by the spoken command. The functional unit controls a function within the vehicle. The processing circuitry stores, to a command buffer, data processed from the received spoken command, and controls, based on the data processed from the received spoken command, the functional unit using audio input received from the selected in-cabin vehicle zone.

  • Publication number: 20220276794
Abstract: A hardware-assisted Distributed Memory System may include software configurable shared memory regions in the local memory of each of multiple processor cores. Accesses to these shared memory regions may be made through a network of on-chip atomic transaction engine (ATE) instances, one per core, over a private interconnect matrix that connects them together. For example, each ATE instance may issue Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs), with or without responses, to an ATE instance associated with a remote processor core in order to perform operations that target memory locations controlled by the remote processor core. Each ATE instance may process RPCs (atomically) that are received from other ATE instances or that are generated locally. For some operation types, an ATE instance may execute the operations identified in the RPCs itself using dedicated hardware. For other operation types, the ATE instance may interrupt its local processor core to perform the operations.

  • Patent number: 11430868
Abstract: Integrated circuit structures including a buried etch-stop layer to help control transistor source/drain depth are provided herein. The buried etch-stop layer addresses the issue of the source/drain etch (or epi-undercut (EUC) etch) going below the bottom of the active height of the channel region, as such an issue can result in un-controlled sub-fin leakage that causes power consumption degradation and other undesired performance issues. The buried etch-stop layer is formed below the channel material, such as in the epitaxial stack that includes the channel material, and acts to slow the removal of material after the channel material has been removed when etching to form the source/drain trenches. In other words, the buried etch-stop layer includes different material from the channel material that can be etched, for at least one given etchant, at a relatively slower rate than the channel material to help control the source/drain trench depth.
