  • Publication number: 20220191714
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for performing a live upgrade process of one or more devices (e.g., access points (APs), etc.) in a large scale network environment. For example, the system can use neighbor path loss data between the APs. The neighbor path loss data may identify the signal strength between two points as an indication of the ability to transmit power and receive power from the individual APs. When the ability to transmit and receive power is present in one AP is unavailable the user device may connect to a second AP to avoid losing connectivity. This neighbor path loss data may be utilized to perform a live upgrade process of APs in parallel at multiple locations of the user site.

  • Publication number: 20220179625
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for synthesizing computer-readable code based on the receipt of input and output examples. A computing system in accordance with the disclosure can be configured to receive a given input and output, access and library of operations, and perform a search of a library of operations (e.g., transpose, slice, norm, etc.) that can be applied to the input. By applying the operations to the input and tracking the results, the computing system may identify an expression comprising one or a combination of operations that when applied to the input generates the output. In this manner, implementations of the disclosure may be used to identify one or more solutions that a user having access to the library of operations may use to generate the output from the input.

  • Publication number: 20220165855
Abstract: Solid assemblies having a composite dielectric spacer and processes for fabricating the solid assemblies are provided. The composite dielectric spacer can include, in some embodiments, a first dielectric layer and a second dielectric layer having a mutual interface. The composite dielectric spacer can separate a contact member from a conductive interconnect member, thus reducing the capacitance between such members with respect to solid assemblies that include one of first dielectric layer or the second dielectric layer. The composite dielectric spacer can permit maintaining the real estate of an interface between the conductive interconnect and a trench contact member that has an interface with a carrier-doped epitaxial layer embodying or constituting a source contact region or a drain contact region of a field effect transistor. The trench contact member can form another interface with the conductive interconnect member, providing a satisfactory contact resistance therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20220156489
Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein relate generally to systems and methods for using machine learning techniques to generate section identifiers for one or more sections of the unstructured or unformatted text data. A document-processing application identifies, with a feature-prediction layer of a machine-learning model, a feature representation that represents a semantic structure of a text section within the unformatted and unstructured document. The document-processing application generates, with a sequence-prediction layer of the machine-learning model, a section identifier (e.g., heading, body, list) for a corresponding text section by applying the sequence-prediction layer to the feature representation and using contextual information of neighboring text sections.

  • Patent number: 11335807
Abstract: Isolation schemes for gate-all-around (GAA) transistor devices are provided herein. In some cases, the isolation schemes include changing the semiconductor nanowires/nanoribbons in a targeted channel region between active or functional transistor devices to electrically isolate those active devices. The targeted channel region is referred to herein as a dummy channel region, as it is not used as an actual channel region for an active or functional transistor device. The semiconductor nanowires/nanoribbons in the dummy channel region can be changed by converting them to an electrical insulator and/or by adding dopant that is opposite in type relative to surrounding source/drain material (to create a p-n junction). The isolation schemes described herein enable neighboring active devices to retain strain in the nanowires/nanoribbons of their channel regions, thereby improving device performance.

  • Patent number: 11334262
Abstract: A hardware-assisted Distributed Memory System may include software configurable shared memory regions in the local memory of each of multiple processor cores. Accesses to these shared memory regions may be made through a network of on-chip atomic transaction engine (ATE) instances, one per core, over a private interconnect matrix that connects them together. For example, each ATE instance may issue Remote Procedure Calls (RPCs), with or without responses, to an ATE instance associated with a remote processor core in order to perform operations that target memory locations controlled by the remote processor core. Each ATE instance may process RPCs (atomically) that are received from other ATE instances or that are generated locally. For some operation types, an ATE instance may execute the operations identified in the RPCs itself using dedicated hardware. For other operation types, the ATE instance may interrupt its local processor core to perform the operations.

  • Publication number: 20220150156
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for supporting multicast for virtual networks. In some embodiments, a native multicast approach can utilized in which packet replication is performed on a host node of a virtual machine (VM) with a multicast data packet encapsulated in uniquely address unicast packets. In some embodiments, a network virtual appliance can be utilized. A multicast packet sent from the VM can be unicasted to the network virtual appliance. The multicast appliance can then replicate the packet into multiple copies and send the packets to the receivers in the virtual network as unicast data packets encapsulating the multicast packet.

  • Publication number: 20220147495
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system for managing communication connections in a virtualization environment includes a plurality of host machines implementing a virtualization environment, wherein each of the host machines includes a hypervisor, at least one user virtual machine (user VM), and a distributed file server that includes file server virtual machines (FSVMs) and associated local storage devices. Each FSVM and associated local storage device are local to a corresponding one of the host machines, and the FSVMs conduct I/O transactions with their associated local storage devices based on I/O requests received from the user VMs. Each of the user VMs on each host machine sends each of its representative I/O requests to an FSVM that is selected by one or more of the FSVMs for each I/O request based on a lookup table that maps a storage item referenced by the I/O request to the selected one of the FSVMs.
