  • Publication number: 20140098569
Abstract: A digital isolation circuit includes an encode circuit, a planar magnetic circuit, and a decode circuit. The encode circuit receives an input signal and divides the input signal into a first signal pulse and a second signal pulse. The planar magnetic circuit is coupled to an output of the encode circuit. The planar magnetic circuit includes a primary winding, a secondary winding and a magnetic core. The primary winding is magnetically coupled to the secondary winding through the magnetic core to generate an isolated output signal in response to the pair of signal pulses. The decode circuit receives the isolated output signal from the secondary winding to generate an output signal substantially identical to input signal. A method of digitally isolating a square wave input signal from an output signal using the digital isolation circuit is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20140097691
Abstract: The power sensing device includes a power input interface in electrical communication with a current sensing circuit and a voltage sensing circuit. The current sensing circuit is connected to a load. The voltage sensing circuit is connected in parallel with the load. A metering integrated circuit and a micro-controller unit (MCU) are included. The metering integrated circuit receives a first analog signal indicating a load current value from the current sensing circuit, and a second analog signal indicating a load voltage value from the voltage sensing circuit. The metering integrated circuit converts first and second analog input signals to first and second digital signals, respectively, and generates the first and second digital signals as digital communication pulses to the MCU. A decoder circuit includes a communications port to send and receive data associated with a sensed current parameter and a sensed voltage parameter.

  • Patent number: 8628305
Abstract: A compressor or vacuum pump fluid intake manifold has fluid intake and a pair of ports provided by male and female fittings that are slidably engaged to one another. The male fitting has a portion which forms a hollow plug which fits within a respective fluid intake of the compressor housing. The plug portion, or plug, is integrally molded with a longitudinal section of the male fitting member. In similar fashion, the female fitting includes a plug portion which interfaces with a fluid intake in the compressor housing. The plug portion is integrally molded with a longitudinal portion of the female fitting. In one embodiment, each of the plugs includes three extending flanges forming an integral portion of the plug. Two of the three flanges provide a contact pressure seal with portions of the compressor housing that define the fluid intakes which receive the plugs. The other flange serves to prevent the plugs from slipping out of the fluid intakes during normal use of the fluid intake manifold.

  • Publication number: 20130230674
Abstract: An head, facial or ear cushion for mounting to a strap of a respiratory or traditional device. The head, facial or ear cushion comprises an elongate flattened body which defines an internal cavity for accommodating a strap of a respiratory or traditional device and generally has a flattened oval shape forming two elongate opposed exterior surfaces. The two opposed surfaces are generally planar and extend substantially parallel to one another so that a width of the head, facial or ear cushion is at least twice a thickness of the head, facial or ear cushion.
