  • Patent number: 8509406
Abstract: A method for integrating presence services into a telecommunications system that includes a presence server. The method includes receiving a query, by the presence server from service logic, the query including call parameters and call information, regarding a call from a session initiator to a session terminator. The method also includes comparing, by the presence server, the call parameters and the call information with a stored presence profile established for the session terminator, the stored presence profile including preferred treatment information. The method further includes collecting usage information of the session terminator, and automatically generating the preferred treatment information, when the preferred treatment information has not been established. The method then determines a treatment of the call, by the presence server, based upon the stored presence profile and the preferred treatment information.

  • Patent number: 8454992
Abstract: Capsule shells for use in multi-part dosage forms have generally cylindrical shell members with a snap fit component on an interior surface adjacent an open end, for connection to a linker part of the dosage form. The shell member also has a plurality of spaced apart integrally formed thin (relative to circumferentially adjacent shell member portions) panels located adjacent a closed shell member end, for preferential dissolution and release of pharmaceutical compositions from the shell member interior. The ratio of the thickness of the panels to the thickness of the shell member ranges from about 0.2 to about 0.6. The panels can be integrally formed together with the shell member as reliefs or depressions on the inner surface of the shell member by injection molding, and panel thicknesses as thin as about 0.1 mm can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 8443125
Abstract: A method of communicating on a single serial line between two devices is disclosed. The method includes combining a data stream and a clock to form a three-voltage level stream such that the third voltage level records the transitions of the clock while the serial data is either high or low. Either the first or the second device can send a combined stream on the line. The method further includes, in some embodiments, the second device driving the same voltage levels as those transmitted by the first device and the first device sensing current on the single serial line to determine that the second device has received data from the first device.

  • Patent number: 8438636
Abstract: System of evaluating security of script content. A processor executes computer-executable instructions for defining a policy for the script content in a web page. The script content provides interactions between a user and other content within the web page. The defined policy indicates an execution boundary of the script content. The processor further evaluates the script content against the execution boundary in the defined policy. At run time, the processor transforms at least a portion of the web page in response to the evaluating. An interface transmits the web page with the transformed portion of the script content to be rendered in an application on a host device.
