  • Patent number: 9514122
Abstract: Creating and processing a natural language grammar set of data based on an input text string are disclosed. The method may include tagging the input text string, and examining, via a processor, the input text string for at least one first set of substitutions based on content of the input text string. The method may also include determining whether the input text string is a substring of a previously tagged input text string by comparing the input text string to a previously tagged input text string, such that the substring determination operation determines whether the input text string is wholly included in the previously tagged input text string.

  • Patent number: 9513082
Abstract: A paintball transfer apparatus and method for operating the apparatus to move a paintball enable a user to load a paintball into a paintball marker. The apparatus has an housing forming a cavity for storing paintballs, a path around the wall of the cavity that is shaped to guide paintballs, and a driver that rotates a roller within the cavity. Rotation of the roller moves paintballs along the path. The path may have one of a variety of shapes, such as circular or helical. The surface speed of the roller may be greater than the speed of the paintballs along the path. The roller may be made of a high friction material, and also may be a brush. The apparatus may be used to move paintballs within and about a marker, such as vertically upwards or downwards, or horizontally left or right.

  • Publication number: 20160350154
Abstract: In some aspects, finer grained parallelism is achieved by segmenting programmatic workloads into smaller discretized portions, where a first element can be indicative both of a configuration or program to be executed, and a first data set to be used in such execution, while a second element can be indicative of a second data element or group. The discretized portions can cause program execute on distributed processors. Approaches to selecting processors, and allocating local memory associated with those processors are disclosed. In one example, discretized portions that share a program have an anti-affinity to cause dispersion, for initial execution assignment. Flags, such as programmer and compiler generated flags can be used in determining such allocations. Workloads can be grouped according to compatibility of memory usage requirements.
