Abstract: The present invention provides a semiconductor device package, comprising a die having a back surface and an active surface formed thereon; an adhesive layer formed on the back surface of the die; a protection substrate formed on the adhesive layer; and a plurality of bumps formed on the active surface of the die for electrically connection. The present invention further provides a method for forming a semiconductor device package, comprising providing a plurality of die having a back surface and an active surface on a wafer; forming an adhesive layer on the back surface of the die; forming a protection substrates on the adhesive layer; forming a plurality of bumps on the active surface of each die; and dicing the plurality of die into individual die for singulation.

Abstract: A firmware code structuring method and related apparatus includes a plurality of subroutines to define various operations of the hardware circuit, and the subroutines are grouped in several different levels. A subroutine of a lower level defines a simpler operation of the hardware circuit, and a higher-level subroutine calls a plurality of lower level subroutines to define more complicated operations of the hardware circuit. When the lower level subroutines are executed, they store results of corresponding operations in an error code. If certain operations performed do not achieve expected results, a corresponding recovery operation is performed by the hardware circuit. To control the hardware to perform the required recovery operations, an error-handler is executed to make the hardware circuit perform recovery operations corresponding to lower level subroutines called in a higher level subroutine according to the error code after the higher level subroutine is finished.

Abstract: A modularized active power filter includes a control module and at least one power module. The control module automatically identifies the number of the parallel connected power modules and generates one set of PWM signals to correspondingly control the parallel connected power modules, so as to provide a final compensation current by single power module or plural power modules. Thereby, the compensation demand of a load is met. Consequently, the modularized active power filter is able to improve the flexibility of compensation capacity, shorten the time for service, be suitable for mass production, and lower the manufacturing cost.

Abstract: A projecting system includes a light source for emitting light, a color temperature detecting device for detecting a color temperature value of the light emitted from the light source, a control device for storing a plurality of selectable pre-determined color temperature values therein for a user to select a pre-determined color temperature value, an adjusting device, and a light-modulating device. The adjusting device is disposed in a light path associated with the light source. The control device is configured for controlling the adjusting device to adjust transmittance of the light transmitted therethrough so as to adjust the color temperature value of the light to the selected pre-determined color temperature value. The light-modulating device modulates the light to create an image.

Abstract: A color management system includes a light combiner configured for producing a single light output, a color selector positioned to receive the combined light output and configured for selectively modifying the polarization of the combined light output according to the wavelength of the combined light output, an analyzer positioned to receive the emergent light of the color selector and configured for producing an output light having an improved contrast relative to the emergent light of the color selector. An improved color management system is provided that improves image contrast and facilitates color management suitable for use in adverse thermal environments without requiring costly, high index, low birefringence glass via coupling the color selector and the analyzer to the light combiner.

The notebook computer is characterized in that the housing includes a predefined space and a connection interface disposed in the predefined space. The connection interface is electrically connected to the CPU. The notebook computer includes a plurality of electronic device modules. Each electronic device module includes a casing portion and a main body portion, and the main body portion includes a transmission interface. The size of each electronic device module may correspond to the size of the predefined space. Each electronic device module may be secured in the predefined space for combination with the housing, and the transmission interface is electrically connected to the connection interface for power or data transmission. The plurality of electronic device modules are capable of combining individually with the housing for replacing different functions.

The light source unit is configured for emitting polarized light with a first polarization direction along an axis. The polarization direction rotating member includes a solid body and a through hole defined in the solid body. The polarized light has a first portion incident on the solid body and a second portion passing through the through hole. The polarization direction rotating member is configured for rotating the first polarization direction of the first portion to a second polarization direction and allowing the second portion to pass the through hole with the first polarization direction kept unchanged. The polarization direction restoration polarizer is configured for changing the second polarization direction of the first portion to the first polarization direction.

Abstract: An integrated micro-scale power converter converts hydrocarbon fuel into electricity. The integrated micro-scale power converter includes a micromachined combustor adapted to convert hydrocarbon fuel into thermal energy and a micromachined thermoelectric generator adapted to convert the thermal energy into electrical energy. The combustion reaction in the combustor flows in a path in a first plane while the thermal energy flows in a second plane in the generator the second plane being nearly orthogonal or orthogonal to the first plane. The fuel handler in the combustor is adjacent and thermally isolated from the thermoelectric generator. The fuel handler may include a nozzle and gas flow switch, where the frequency of activation of the gas flow switch controls the amount of the fuel ejected from the nozzle.

The other terminal of rotation unit pivoted at the radiation conductor. The fixing element wedges with close in the inner of the through hole of the base. Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel may have a substrate body, a patterned overcoat layer disposed on the substrate body, and a transparent conductive layer disposed on the patterned overcoat layer. The patterned overcoat layer may have a plurality of slits, the depth of the slits greater than the thickness of the transparent conductive layer. By using the height difference of the slits in the overcoat layer and the thickness of the transparent conductive layer, the transparent conductive layer may be patterned during formation. Thus, the fabricating process can be simplified, the cost reduced, and the through put and the productive yield improved.

Abstract: A method and a module for improving personal speech recognition capability for use in a portable electronic device are provided. The portable electronic device has a predetermined recognition model constructed of a phoneme model for recognizing at least a command speech from a user. The method comprises the steps of: establishing a database having specific characters which are related to the command speech; construing an adaptation parameter by retrieving a plurality of speech datum spoken by the user according to the database; and modulating the recognition model by integrating the phoneme model and the adaptation parameter. The user can effectively adapt the recognition model to improve the recognition capability according to the above steps.

The present invention discloses a base with a first separation layer, an upper molding base with a second separation layer, a cheap molding layer and a vacuum panel bonding machine for bonding, a curing unit, a cleaning unit and a separating unit; wherein upper molding base is rectangular or round. Therefore the present invention providing a simple, cheap universal panel/wafer molding apparatus for a round or rectangular type panel, and does no harm to the chip active surface.

Abstract: An automatic charging station for an autonomous mobile machine includes a base, a housing, and a signal transmitter. The base is mounted on the ground or on a planar surface. The housing is rotatably mounted on the base, having at least one guide member and a plurality of electrically conductive members on a surface thereof. The electrically conductive members are located on the housing. The signal transmitter is mounted on the housing for transmitting a signal. When the autonomous mobile machine senses the signal transmitted by the transmitter while moving, the autonomous mobile machine moves along a route towards the housing and then forces the guide member to enable the housing to rotate for facing and accommodating the autonomous mobile machine and to further enable the autonomous mobile machine to contact against the housing to have its electrodes in contact with the electrically conductive members for charging.

Abstract: The present invention provides a semiconductor device package having multi-chips with side-by-side configuration comprising a substrate with die receiving through holes, connecting through holes structure and first contact pads on an upper surface and second contact pads on a lower surface of the substrate. A first die having first bonding pads and a second die having second bonding pads are respectively disposed within the die receiving through holes. The first adhesion material is formed under the first and second die and the substrate, and the second adhesion material is filled in the gap between the first and second die and sidewall of the die receiving though holes of the substrate. Further, bonding wires are formed to couple between the first bonding pads and the first contact pads, between the second bonding pads and the first contact pads. A dielectric layer is formed on the bonding wires, the first and second die and the substrate.

The apparatus of the present invention comprises a glass base on which a trench and a cavity formed by a layer of photo resistance. Chips are picked from a sawed wafer and placed on the glass base and moved by fluid flow to the front of index bar. The glass base and the index bar vibrate with low frequency to fill chips into chip cavities. The present invention further provides a method for self chip redistribution, comprising providing a self redistribution tool, transferring redistributed chips onto a panel forming tool, forming a chip panel and separating said chip panel from panel forming tool.
