  • Publication number: 20070184746
Abstract: The present invention provides a PDP structure including a first substrate, a second substrate and a Waffle barrier rib structure located between the first and second substrate. The Waffle barrier rib structure includes three first barrier ribs having different width and a plurality of second barrier ribs perpendicular to the first barrier ribs. The second barrier ribs are located between the two first barrier ribs, and connect the wider structure of the two first barrier ribs. Therefore, discharge spaces are formed. Because of different width, the height difference of the barrier rib structure is formed after thermal process. Hence, gas can pass through the barrier ribs structure between the front and the back substrate sealed together.

  • Publication number: 20070176558
Abstract: The invention discloses a plasma display panel (PDP). The PDP grounds an exposed transparent conductive layer to the inner component thereof, so as to shield off electromagnetic interference (EMI). Accordingly, there is no metal structure in the second protective layer formed on the transparent conductive layer, such that the second protective layer can be easily attached onto the transparent conductive layer. Therefore, the manufacturing of PDP is getting much easier, and the yield rate will then increase.

  • Publication number: 20070047108
Abstract: A suspension apparatus comprises a lens holder, a suspension spring and a supporting base. The supporting base is formed with an opening for accommodating the lens holder. The lens holder is for positioning a lens unit. The suspension spring is manufactured by stamping process to form a long strip with a plurality of suspension springs. The strip is then guided into a mold, and plastic injection molding process is performed in that mold so as to produce the lens holder and supporting base affixed respectively to either end of the suspension spring in one piece. After that, excess material of the strip is cut off. The suspension apparatus as above described is suitable for mass production. In addition, because of the high precision of mold, the inaccuracy of assembly and fabrication is minimized. The volume of the whole apparatus and the cost of production are also vastly decreased.

  • Patent number: 7176907
Abstract: The invention, an improved device and method for the pointer system of a digitizer tablet, is to repetitiously emit signals sequentially from a specific set of inductive loop when the position pointed by the wireless pointer device is located within a range formed by this specific set of inductive loop induced most intensively during a locally scanning process. After a transient energy storage of the wireless pointer device, corresponding resonant signals are emitted out and are received sequentially by several sets of inductive loop located on the digitizer tablet in the neighborhood of this specific set of inductive loop and, by these signals, the wireless pointer device's coordinate position on the digitizer tablet is calculated out relatively.

  • Publication number: 20060280080
Abstract: An apparatus and method for automatic power control is disclosed. An optical recording apparatus utilizes a low-speed, peak-hold circuit to obtain and output a maximum of a front photodiode output signal during a predetermined window or plurality of windows of a total duration long enough to allow maximum peak-hold signal to stabilize. After stabilization, the maximum peak-hold signal is sampled and held in a sample and hold circuit. A reset then clears the signal and reinitializes the peak-hold circuit. In accordance with the difference between a reference voltage and the held peak-hold signal, a feedback controller unit outputs the required current level into a driving unit for producing desired recording pulses into a laser diode for recording information pits into an optical disc. A calibration gain may be used when, due to insufficient FPD response speed, the held signal is different than the real optical power output.
