    Abstract: An apparatus that facilitates and/or supports stabilizing apparent azimuth angles of audio signals in environments of varying acoustic fidelity may include an eyewear frame dimensioned to be worn by a user. The apparatus may also include circuitry coupled to the eyewear frame and configured to (1) obtain an audio signal originating from a sound source in an environment of the user, (2) manipulate an azimuthal angle of the audio signal relative to a location of the sound source in the environment toward a midline feature of the user, and (3) provide the audio signal for auditory display to the user such that the manipulated azimuthal angle causes the user to perceive the audio signal as originating from the location of the sound source. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A device and method for shutting off fluid-flow in a pipe. The device includes a moveable sealing member inside a pipeline, a longitudinal spring configured to bias against the sealing member in a first direction, and a lateral spring at an angle to the longitudinal spring wherein the lateral spring is configured to bias against the sealing member in a second direction. The device includes a housing with a passage configured to be positioned inline with a pipeline, and a sealing seat. A locking element is biased against the sealing member using the lateral spring to maintain an open position with the sealing member off of the sealing seat. The locking element is configured to move from the sealing member upon a fluid overpressure in the passage, whereby the sealing member extends into the seal seat to close off the pipeline upon the overpressure.

The vBNG instances are configured to receive requests to access service provider services from the one or more subscriber devices and to selectively authenticate the one or more subscriber devices for network services based on authentication information included in the requests to access services provider services. The one or more core applications include a network instance and configuration manager (NICM). The NICM is configured to modify the vBNG instance information at the NSDB to include an additional vBNG instance and to output, to an edge router, an instruction to generate the additional vBNG instance at the edge router.
