Abstract: A two layer type air conditioner for vehicles facilitates drainage of water induced into a blower through an outside air intake to a condensed water outlet and prevents backflow of water to the blower. A blower has an intake duct for inhaling inside air and outside air. A double suction type scroll case mounted on the intake duct is divided into two passages by a partition plate. A blower fan is rotatably mounted in the two passages. A motor turns the blower fan. A case for the air conditioner includes an evaporator for cooling the air blown from the blower and a condensed water outlet for draining condensed water generated from the evaporator. The case is divided into two passages corresponding to those of the scroll case. A drain drains water induced into the blower to the condensed water outlet.

Abstract: A micro column electron beam apparatus having a reduced number of interconnections is provided. The micro column electron beam apparatus includes: a low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) substrate; a plurality of deflector electrodes attached to a predetermined top portion of the LTCC substrate; a pad electrode placed at a top edge of the LTCC substrate and transmitting an external signal to the deflector electrodes; and a connection unit placed in the LTCC substrate and electrically connecting the deflector electrode and the pad electrode.

Abstract: Provided are a wearable physiological signal detection module and a measurement apparatus having the same. A physiological signal detection module including a measuring electrode implemented by a dry electrode having good conductivity to detect various physiological signals is detachably disposed inside the clothing closely adhered to user's skin. The measuring electrode can be in stable contact with the user's skin as well as the detection module can be conveniently worn for a long time. The various physiological signals detected by the measuring electrodes are wirelessly transmitted to an external device, thereby conveniently monitoring the physiological signal of the user in real time.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a sample collection apparatus which includes a pretreatment unit arranged in front of a sample collection section to remove moisture, a first Peltier trap positioned at the lower side of the pretreatment unit to perform cooling condensation and thermal desorption, a switching valve connected to the rear of the pretreatment unit to determine flow paths through first, second, third and fourth ports, a sample collection section arranged at the rear of the switching valve to collect samples, a second Peltier trap positioned at the lower side of the sample collection section to perform thermal desorption, a first air pump connected to the second port of the switching valve to intake air, a second air pump connected to the rear of the sample collection section to intake and exhaust air, and a sample analyzer connected to the fourth port of the switching valve to analyze the samples.

Abstract: A method of determining the time to failure of parallel electro migration test structures is described. The method generally includes the steps of: measuring the resistance of the complete structure; calculating the resistance of the n individual parallel structures from the measured resistance; calculating the resistance of the complete structure after the failure of m individual parallel structures, for m=1 to n; and recording the time of failure for each m as the time when the resistance is approximately the value predicted for m fails.

Abstract: A computer system for extrapolating from relatively small amounts of information provided by a consumer to generate a wide range of travel options that are still associated with the information provided by the consumer. For example, the system includes processes for generating or finding travel packages with exactly matching travel dates and destinations supplied by the consumer. In addition, the system includes processes for varying the dates of travel by several days, or proximate weekends, and the destination of travel with nearby or regional destinations, so as to generate or find additional travel options. Further, the system can be configured to extract a theme of the consumer requested information and to use this theme to construct or find travel packages with similar or matching themes.

Abstract: A point-to-multipoint traffic routing method that routes a multicast traffic through a determined tree on an MPLS network. A node on an MPLS network conducting a point-to-multipoint traffic routing method receives a message with an object including topology information on a determined tree, determines whether itself is a copy node or not based on the topology information, and copies, if determined to be a copy node, the received message to transmit to at least two nodes specified as next by the topology information. The present routing method ensures smooth operations of a copy and a merge node as well as an overall network.

Abstract: A mask for use in measuring flare produced by a projection lens of a photolithography system, a method of manufacturing the mask, a method of identifying a flare-affected region on a wafer, and a method for correcting for the flare to produce photoresist patterns of desired line widths are provided. A first photolithographic process is performed to form photoresist patterns on a test wafer using a mask including a light shielding region having a plurality of light transmission patterns and a light transmission region, and the photoresist patterns formed by light passing through the light transmission patterns of the light shielding region are compared to the photoresist patterns formed by light passing through the light transmission region. The amount of flare produced by the projection lens is quantified using the results of the comparison, and thus it is possible to identify a flare-affected region on the wafer.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for synthesizing a protein in a cell-free synthesis system, which comprises the steps of: (a) amplifying a DNA molecule encoding the protein to prepare linear DNA molecules with a stem and loop sequence at their terminus, wherein the stem and loop sequence comprises a nucleotide sequence inducing the formation of a stem and loop structure at the 3?-end of transcripts of the amplified DNA molecules to prevent degradation of the transcripts; and (b) contacting the amplified DNA molecules to a lysate of cells with deficient endoribonuclease E activity, thereby producing the protein in the cell-free synthesis system.
