  • Publication number: 20080098856
Abstract: This invention is about a device used for installing a fixing nut on the targeted objects-multiple fixing screw axes protruded from the hub or for separating them from the targeted object or the fixing screw axis in order to fix vehicle's tire wheel to the hub when installing or separating a fixing nut from targeted objects. Based on the idle operation of the operating gear, not based on the visual examination, the invention immediately recognizes the complete installation of a fixing nut. Likewise, this invention is to provide a wrench that maximizes user convenience.

  • Publication number: 20080101500
Abstract: A modulator performs data processing operations such as interpolation and fractional delay adjustment on amplitude and/or phase data by performing shift operations in lieu of multiplication operations. In selected embodiments, the modulator samples input data at a first rate, processes the sampled input data using the first rate, and then interpolates the processed data to produce interpolated data. The modulator then samples the interpolated data at a second rate higher than the first rate and generates output data at the second rate.

  • Publication number: 20080102813
Abstract: The Multi-Link Aircraft Cellular System makes use of multiple physically separated antennas mounted on the aircraft, as well as the use of additional optional signal isolation and optimization techniques to improve the call handling capacity of the Air-To-Ground cellular communications network. These additional techniques can include polarization domain and ground antenna pattern shaping (in azimuth, in elevation, or in both planes). Further, if code domain separation is added, dramatic increases in capacity are realized. Thus, the Air-To-Ground cellular communications network can increase its capacity on a per aircraft basis by sharing its traffic load among more than one cell or sector and by making use of multiple physically separated antennas mounted on the aircraft, as well as the use of additional optional signal isolation and optimization techniques.

  • Patent number: 7364531
Abstract: A lateral motion exercising apparatus provides a pair of vertically oriented axles engaged with a frame. A pair of support struts are rotationally engaged with the axles. A rigid link is pivotally joined at its terminal ends with the support struts in a manner for maintaining the support struts in parallel alignment as they rotate about the axles. A pair of platform struts is engaged pivotally at proximal ends of the support struts, the pivots enabling each of the platform struts to rotate vertically about its distal end. The proximal ends of the platform struts are constrained to move in opposing vertical motions in coordination with rotations of the support struts to produce a skating-like motion to a user standing on the platform struts.

  • Patent number: 7366253
Abstract: In a mobile communication system, receivers measure channel characteristics using a received reference channel signal. The receivers determine a weight which has orthogonality with respect to each of a preset number of weight vectors in the mobile communication system and has the highest signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio, and feedback the weight and the corresponding signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio to the transmitter. The transmitter interprets the feedback information output from the receivers and determines receivers having feedback information which are orthogonal to each other and have the maximum throughput as an addition capacity when transmitted simultaneously, and determines weights based on the feedback information of the receivers having the maximum throughput. By applying the determined weights to the antennas using a well-known beam forming scheme, data can be transmitted to each of the determined receivers.

  • Patent number: 7364990
Abstract: First and second preliminary epitaxial layers are grown from single-crystalline seeds in openings in an insulation layer until the first and second epitaxial layers are connected to each other. While the first and second preliminary epitaxial layers are being grown, a connection structure of a material having an amorphous state is formed on a portion of the insulation layer located between the first and second preliminary epitaxial layers. The material having an amorphous state is then changed into material having a single-crystalline state. Thus, portions of the first and second epitaxial layers are connected to each other through the connection structure so that the epitaxial layers and the connection structure constitute a single-crystalline structure layer that is free of voids for use as a channel layer or the like of a semiconductor device.

  • Patent number: 7365406
Abstract: A non-uniform ion implantation apparatus comprises a wide ion beam generator configured to generate a plurality of wide ion beams to irradiate at least two regions on the entire area of a wafer, and a wafer rotating device configured to rotate the wafer in a predetermined direction while the wide ion beams generated by the wide ion beam generator are irradiated to the wafer. Among the wide ion beams, at least one wide ion beam has a different dose from that of at least one different wide ion beam. Since the wide ion beams are irradiated at different doses to the wafer, a smooth circular border is formed between the regions to which the impurity ions are implanted to different concentrations. Since the position of the wafer is suitably changed for the wide ion beams, it is possible to control disposition of the regions implanted with the impurity ions of different concentrations.

  • Patent number: 7366396
Abstract: The present invention relates to multi-channel stream recording/reproducing method and apparatus. The present multi-channel stream reproducing method checks whether or not reproduced multi-channel stream belongs to same broadcast (RF) channel, and deletes PSI (Program Specific Information) packets included in channel stream excluding one channel stream if it belongs to same RF channel, and makes new PSI packets with reference to PSI packets included in reproduced multi-channel stream to replace them, if not. Furthermore, the present method compensates appropriately PCRs (Program Clock References) included in channel stream excluding one channel stream in case of the latter. The present method enables a digital TV set to present multi-channel stream simultaneously in PIP (Picture-In-Picture) or multi-screen mode with no error in channel selection and presentation (or decoding) time.
