Abstract: A baseband signal predistortion processing device and method. Said device includes: a predistorter, for preserving and updating nonlinear filter parameter, carrying out power statistic of input signals, selecting corresponding nonlinear filter parameter according to the power statistical result and predistortion-processing baseband digital signals by use of said corresponding nonlinear filter parameter, and outputting the predistortion processed baseband digital signals; an adaptive parameter calculating unit, for calculating nonlinear filter parameter according to received feedback signals of radio-frequency channel and sampled signals of baseband digital signals, and transmitting the calculating result to the predistorter. Said method can not only solve the nonlinear problem of power amplifier, but also can select different non-linearity inverse model according to different input signal and power amplifier characteristic, and increase whole efficiency of base station transmitter.

Abstract: An apparatus for detachably installing a smart card, such as a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card, in a portable terminal is provided. The apparatus includes an opening on the portable terminal, a sliding member slidably coupled to the terminal to move in and out of the opening, and a cover on an end portion of the sliding member to open and close the opening as the sliding member slides. The SIM card is placed on the sliding member to move in and out of the opening through a sliding movement of the sliding member. The apparatus prevent damage to the SIM card when it is detachably installed in the portable terminal through the sliding movement of the sliding member.

Abstract: An image analysis method, medium and apparatus for segmentation of a moving image, and a moving image segmentation system. The image analysis method includes receiving an image signal representing an image, detecting features of the image by calculating a difference between the current frame of the image signal and its previous frame, analyzing the image signal based on the detected features of the image, and performing segmentation on the image signal according to the analysis result, thereby separately performing segmentation on all types of moving images. In other words, by using an appropriate segmentation method according to a feature of an image, effective segmentation can be achieved.

Abstract: A complex formulation for oral administration comprising a sustained release formulation of an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor and a film layer for rapid release of an anti-hypertensive agent, the film layer being coated on the sustained release formulation, can achieve improved therapeutic effects of the anti-hypertensive agent by promptly releasing it, while maintaining a constant drug level of the HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor in blood through a slow release. Accordingly, the complex formulation is useful for preventing and treating diseases such as hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis, hypertension and cardiovascular disease.

Abstract: Disclosed are a wavelet transformation-based image encoder, decoder and method for generating a thumbnail image. In the present invention, an original image is tiled according to a preset tiling scheme, and wavelet transformation is performed for each tiled image. An LL image is extracted from the tiled image and range mapping is performed for the color values of each pixel of the extracted LL images. After the range mapping of the color values according to the pixels, a thumbnail image is generated by reconstructing the LL images according to the predetermined tiling scheme. According to the present invention as described above, when an encoder using a wavelet transformation method encodes the original image into a wavelet image or a decoder using wavelet transformation method decodes the wavelet encoded image into the original image, the thumbnail image can be easily generated.

The push-layer comprises about 10 to 80 percent by weight of the push-layer of osmopolymers, about 10 to 80 percent by weight of the push-layer of water-insoluble polymers, and about 5 to 50 percent by weight of the push-layer of osmagents. The composition is used in osmotic pump tablets for controlled release of nifedipine useful for administration once a day.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for video frame rate conversion are disclosed. In one aspect of the invention, a basic interpolation motion vector for an interpolated frame is generated using a motion vector of a current frame. The motion vector of the current frame is compared with a motion vector of a previous frame. The basic interpolation motion vector is offset and corrected according to a comparison result. The interpolated frame is generated by performing motion compensation using at least one of the basic interpolation motion vector and the corrected basic interpolation motion vector.

The search information includes a search score assigned to the resource domain and one or more resource locators associated with the resource domain. The resource locator search server searches the resource locator database and transmits a result list of the search in response to a user's query. The listed resource domain database includes information of the resource domain categorized as a listed resource domain or a listing candidate resource domain according to the search score of the resource domain.
