    Abstract: A padded receiving device for nail care devices comprising a pad, a pad holder with a pad, or a padded base engaging case, individually or in any combination with each other. The pad holder for supporting the pad has a front slit and an optional rear slit. The pad holder has a top member and a bottom member molded or attached together. A hook from a rear end of the bottom member attaches the pad holder to the nail care device. The pad has a top piece and a bottom piece joined together by a center piece. The center piece situates at an opening bored on the nail care device. The padded receiving device may consist of the pad independent of the pad holder. If the nail care device has a base, the padded receiving device further comprise a padded base engaging case.

    Abstract: A cleaning unit and an electrophotographic image forming apparatus including the cleaning unit that prevents a cleaning blade from overturning is disclosed. The cleaning unit includes a cleaning blade that contacts an outer circumference of an object to be cleaned with a predetermined pressure, and thus removes material remaining on the outer circumference of the object while the object is rotating. A bracket is connected to one side of the cleaning blade and supports the cleaning blade. A support frame is connected to the other side of the cleaning blade (that is, a side opposite to the side where the bracket is connected), and is placed close to the object to be clean. The support frame prevents the cleaning blade from being bent in a rotation direction of the object.

Thus, a passage through which dust is introduced toward an information area of the disc, and a gap formed at an outer circumference are blocked by the disc holder so that a possibility of contamination by dust can be reduced.

    Abstract: Provided are improved methods for forming silicon films, particularly single-crystal silicon films from amorphous silicon films in which a single-crystal silicon substrate is prepared by removing any native oxide, typically using an aqueous HF solution, and placed in a reaction chamber. The substrate is then heated from about 350° C. to a first deposition temperature under a first ambient to induce single-crystal epitaxial silicon deposition primarily on exposed silicon surfaces. The substrate is then heated to a second deposition temperature under a second ambient that will maintain the single-crystal epitaxial silicon deposition on exposed single-crystal silicon while inducing amorphous epitaxial silicon deposition on insulating surfaces. The amorphous epitaxial silicon can then be converted to single-crystal silicon using a solid phase epitaxy process to form a thin, high quality silicon layer.

Thus, when the shutter is closed, introduction of dust is prevented so that the possibility of the information area of the disk being contaminated is lowered. Also, since the disk is fixed between the upper and lower cases, while the disk is carried, noise and damage can be reduced.
