Patent number: 8099986Abstract: A handlebars locking apparatus for locking and unlocking of the handlebars on the basis of a code collation is provided. A collation ECU releases a restriction of a rotor latched by a latch by driving a solenoid if an ignition switch is turned OFF while a lock pin is retracted. After releasing the restriction, rotation of the rotor is restricted by the latch and a code collation with a code stored in a portable key is carried out if a lock pin is in a protrusion state after the release of the restriction and the protrusion state is detected by a lock side switch. If the code collation is correctly carried out, the protrusion of the lock pin is maintained to lock the handlebars. If the code collation is not correctly completed, the restriction of the rotor is released so as to be returned into an unlocked state.Type: GrantFiled: March 21, 2008Date of Patent: January 24, 2012Assignees: Honda Motor Co., Ltd., Honda Lock Mfg. Patent number: 7833587Abstract: A method for making the characteristics of the distribution of film thickness uniform is provided, avoiding generation of phase differences among streams of high-frequency electric power by manipulating the electrical characteristics of cables through which the high-frequency electric power is transmitted. Coaxial cables (19a to 19h and 24a to 24h) having a standard length and vacuum cables (20a to 20h and 25a to 25h) are installed, then a film is formed on a substrate by actually supplying high-frequency electric power, and thereafter the condition of vapor deposition such as the thickness of the film is observed. Based on the observations, the full lengths of the coaxial cables which communicate with the feeding points and the electrodes which correspond with positions over the substrate which need to be adjusted are changed. The coaxial cables are installed again, and high-frequency electric power equivalent to that used in the previous operation is supplied to form a film.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2003Date of Patent: November 16, 2010Assignee: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Hiroshi Mashima, Akira Yamada, Keisuke Kawamura, Kenji Tagashira, Yoshiaki Takeuchi

Patent number: 7802649Abstract: A steering lock device has a steering catch mechanism including a handlebar attached to a steering stem, and a locking arm attached to this handlebar and being equipped with a lock pin for engagement on the tip end portion thereof. The steering catch mechanism also includes a locking claw as an engaging portion that is engagable with the lock pin. The locking claw is usually biased in the unlocking direction. In this catch mechanism, the locking claw is disposed on a rotation track of the lock pin. Accordingly, when an external force is applied to the lock pin such that the lock pin is in contact with the locking claw of the catch mechanism, the locking claw is moved in the locking direction so that the locking claw can be engaged with the lock pin. Therefore, a steering-lock stand-by state is accomplished.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 2007Date of Patent: September 28, 2010Assignee: Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventors: Takeshi Konno, Tadashi Onozuka, Yoshiaki Takeuchi

Publication number: 20100236304Abstract: In a vehicle handle locking apparatus, a locking member that can operate between a locked position and an unlocked position and a holding member that operates together with the locking member are resiliently urged toward the unlocked position side; and an engaging member that engages with a holding member in the locked position and holds the locking member in the locked position is operated by operation of an electric actuator toward the side to release the engagement with the holding member. Forced unlocking drive device forcibly drives the holding member toward the unlocked position side in response to the operation of the electric actuator in a state in which the locking member is in the locked position. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a vehicle handle locking apparatus that releases, even when a force in a rotating direction is applied to a steering handle, engagement of a locking member with the steering handle or a linkage member so that an unlocked state is reliably achieved.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2010Publication date: September 23, 2010Applicants: KABUSHIKI KAISHA HONDA LOCK, HONDA MOTOR CO., LTD.Inventors: Kazuo YUHI, Takashi ISHITSUKA, Katsuhisa YAMADA, Hiroshi NISHIJIMA, Yoshiaki TAKEUCHI

Patent number: 7754381Abstract: An anode and a battery capable of realizing a high capacity and improving charge and discharge cycle characteristics, and manufacturing methods thereof are provided. An anode active material layer contains a particulate anode active material including a simple substance or a compound of an element capable of forming an alloy with Li, a particulate binder including a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride or polyvinylidene fluoride, and a conductive agent. The anode active material layer is formed by using a dispersion medium having a swelling degree of 10% or less to the binder, specifically pure water or the like. The particulate binder functions as a cushion to absorb expansion and shrinkage of the anode active material due to charge and discharge, and lowering of electron conductivity caused by generation of cracks or separation is prevented. Further, since the anode active material is not covered with the binder, electrode reaction is well performed.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 2003Date of Patent: July 13, 2010Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Takemasa Fujino, Takatomo Nishino, Yoshiaki Takeuchi
